Encore Perry Crossing

We like the hotel like feel of the building, and the courtyard has some interesting activity places. On the other hand, the appliances in the apartments are sub standard. The freezer is on the top like a 1970s unit and the refrigerator is on the bottom. Closed dryer with no buzzer kitchen cabinets that are difficult to reach either high or low. Actually. The finish of the woodwork is simple paint, definitely not luxurious. And lastly the building is dustier than I would've expected for a two year old building. Also while the building is generally very quiet, upstairs apartment noise is a common complaint.

We have lived here for almost 2 years now and just Love it. We are always doing something. We have plenty of activities like bingo, movie night, game night, carry in dinners, pickle ball, a courtyard fire pit with a beautiful waterfall pond and so much more. We really enjoy meeting new friends and developing relationships with them. It’s a secure building which makes us feel safe. Even though it is Apartment living it just doesn’t feel like that with all the things going on at Encore.

I moved from the West to the East to be with family after I retired. My son-in-law made a list of possible places to live. We went to several places before we came here. I loved it!! They have workout facilities and a movie theater. They have a community center where there are game nights, community celebrations and for those interested they have bible studies on Monday night. Also, available are massage and hair and nail services. There is even a dog groomer. If needed there is an office with computer and printer and a sewing machine, if you are so inclined. I have always felt safe and secure here and have no reservations about my safety. This is a beautiful facility and I truly believe anyone making this choice would be happier for it.

The Encore 55+ Boutique Apartments at Perry Crossing truly have been a blessing for my family! We absolutely LOVE the next-door access to the Shops at Perry Crossing, including great restaurants and a very close AMC Theater, not to mention countless other businesses within a 10-minute walk or less! In addition, - leasing management are friendly and connected to the community; - Encore is replete with amenities, including a nicely adorned front lobby with fireplace and community room, lounges on each floor, computer room, salon, pet wash station, outdoor and indoor exercise/sports facilities, and a dog park my fur baby really loves; and - more regularly scheduled and holiday activities than I can possibly keep track of! And the residents? From the moment I first entered, I felt truly welcomed. Residents are kind and considerate of one another, but also afford each person whatever level of personal privacy they wish. In short, it's awesome!

Encore is a wonderful mix of people, both staff and residents are so very welcoming. It is an active 55+ community, which provides as much or as little socialization as you desire. Interior hallways, beautifully appointed common areas, courtyard, beauty parlor, dog wash room, office, theatre and work out room, we have it all! I have met so many new friends here at Encore. To me it’s not just a place to live…it’s home!

Encore of Perry is a super place to live. Well kept grounds and building. Super people in the office. Nice quiet and secure. Feel safe. Lots of super amenities. Come and take a tour. No pressure. Lived here for year and a half and really enjoy the surroundings of all the shopping and restaurants. Close to airport. You don’t have to go far for anything.

The big disappointment is that the appliances and cabinets are were not selected with older people in mind. 1). Lots of kitchen storage shelves that are low instead of pull out drawers. 2). The refrigerator unit that is most frequently accessed is on the bottom - freezer on top. 3) The washer and dry do not have buzzers indicating that they are finished. It is a quiet facility. There are a lot of resident lead, good activities available.

I love living at Encore Perry because everyone is like a part of my family. the atmosphere is very uplifting and makes you feel good. Even the little ladies in the office are always smiling.

I have been a resident of Encore since it opened in December. I can not say enough about the social activities. I have met so many wonderful people and there is always something to do. The manager, [name removed], is friendly and supportive. You can't go wrong if you choose Encore as your home.
