My Mother lives in the Educator. She is very happy with her life on a daily basis. Lots of friendly people everywhere and many activities to keep her social and moving. Her apartment is a corner one bedroom. It is full of light and has a tree top view. You see birds, squirrels, and Deer. Very sweet. I love to visit and stay a few days with her. The senior center offers Yoga, Zumba, and Tai chi, based on interest. Bingo! The Senior Center staff is very visible and lovely to deal with. There is a cafeteria offering meals at noon. Very affordable. I believe this is as affordable as having an apartment but with all the extras available you can not put a price on it. I would live there.... Read more

Went to view these apartments first off there were drunks out front smoking and looking on to the back patio more drunks and loud music and the smell of cigarettes was everywhere. Upon hopping the elevator which disgustingly padded with god only knows thinking back this must be for all the drunks to get back to their rooms with out a head injury. learning then after talking with one of the tenants the 8th floor has been without a washing machine for months and the tenants that are handicapped can't do their clothes. I would say this wasn't a place for me.

We moved my mother into her apartment this past week after about a year of research, emails with Marion at A Place for Mom and talking to Janice at Educator's. I cannot have asked for more informative, patient and helpful people. Marion guided me on our search and when we applied to Educator's Janice was extremely patient with my telephone calls and questions. My mother is in a secure place, her apartment is not large but very nice with a gorgeous view and very light and airy. Every single resident we met while moving her was friendly and courteous. The senior center is located on the first floor, they have reliable senior transportation and are located in a very nice area - even nicer when the mall re-design is finished. The hospital is right down the street and they have a very social community there.

I was impressed with this facility. The one bedroom I was shown was excellent for me, if only I can get out of my lease. Director was real nice and I was able to meet some of the tenants and they were nice and welcomed me. I love the fact that they have daily activities. I am a big bingo fan. I love that there is shopping just outside the front door. Real convenient for me.
