Westwood Place

The staff, maintenance, housekeeping, and the office staff are professional and friendly! The facility is like a home setting! The floors are decorated by a designated resident(and they really put their professional touches into it!) on every floor! The outdoors as well as the indoors a well kept. There are some pets here, cats and dogs that doesn't cause any issues to the residents. Those that live pets enjoys interaction with them, if the owners allow it. I just love everything about my Westwood Place. It is just like home to me and my dog, LovBella! I am grateful for you all introducing me to this facility. I've never felt as safe and happy anywhere else I have lived!

It's taken a while for her to get acclimated but the amenities in the area and apartments are very nice and comfortable. We are pleased. We picked this community because of the location to family, all the stores she likes are right around the corner and comfort of the apartment. Easy to get to for us. Only item she doesn't care for are the small refrigerators provided in the kitchen.

Very kind and helpful staff. They go out of their way to assist you in the transition of moving your parent to their facility. They really care about their residents. They Have good options to purchase food from outside providers. They also have many activities to choose from.

It is truly a place for Mom. It has everything that you would expect and want for your mother, your grandmother, or whoever the person is who needs to be in independent living. There is so much going on. There is a beauty shop, we do our nails, there are exercise programs, meet and greet, happy hour. We have so many activities that you never get bored. The people are so nice to be gathered around with. The staff are so friendly and professional. The cleaning and maintenance staff are great. I have no complaints. If I could give it ten stars I would! The apartments are beautiful. The facility is clean, inside and outside. Meals are delicious. I'm just in awe and am so grateful to have found Westwood Place!

We're quite pleased with this facility. It's always clean and orderly. Communication with the family is really good. The staff are fun, friendly, and helpful. They're always so patient with my loved one. The maintenance man is always available on the premises. They have many amenities and offer transportation. They also have a good variety of activities with several things to do each day. We loved it from the beginning and are very happy with it. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Mom seems to like it. The apartments are fine. It's not a luxury facility, but it's not luxury priced either. They serve a continental breakfast and have a number of activities and day trips. The only negative is their elevators need to be replaced. They are constantly breaking down.

We went with Westwood Place because I wanted my sister to be able to get out and socialize and have people to look out for her and vice versa, which I feel is so important for seniors. It has a very friendly and uplifting environment. I do think they could provide more activities for the residents to do. I would absolutely recommend to others.

A Hud property which is not stated in their brochures or in the lease. Laundry facility not large enough for number of residents. Will find it necessary to wash more often which is a huge inconvenience. Huge problem with secondhand smoke. Shameful to live in a place where tenants dealing with major health issues have to be exposed to cigarette smoke. Be very careful in making a decision to reside at Westwood Place. Don't let the affordable price fool you.
