Dogwood Estates

Our parents were looking for an independent living place and when we met Autumn we knew that they were going to be happy and loved here! From the moment we met, [name removed] made us, and them, feel at home. Even after they moved in, she continued to reach out and check on them. Everyone here, from staff to residents, have been welcoming and helpful. We are so happy to have found Dogwood Estates.

From the first visit to tour the property , to every interaction after that, U know Dogwood was going to be the best independent living and continuing care option for my dad. The staff has been lovely. Other residents were very welcoming and friendly. The unit we rented is perfect for his needs and the complex amenities provide all the health and welfare benefits I could have hoped for. I look forward to many years at Dogwood and I'm so proud of my dad for making this choice.

The entire staff at Dogwood is just wonderful [name removed], the Executive Director, is just a sweetheart and she really cares about all of us and Everyone from her down is the same. Chef [name removed], is not only a very good cook but he really tries to give us good a nutritious food. I'm disabled and was living with my brother but I was really struggling before I came here. Since I came here my life has just gotten better and better. Instead of just watching tv all day I'm involved many activities all day. I'm and engineer and have found purpose again helping other residents with their phones and computers. It a great feeling to feel useful again. [name removed]the activities Director organizes many, many activities for us every day. Moving to Dogwood was absolutely the best move I ever made.

I enjoy living here. I picked this community because I know the neighborhood.

Dogwood Estates is a beautiful, clean, well kept community. All of the staff from management to housekeeping are all so nice and caring. It is obvious that the staff really do care about the residents. My grandmother is so happy to be a part of the Dogwood Community.

I have made many friends during my first two months at Dogwood Estates. The managers are very friendly and responsive to needs of the residents. I doubt that I could have found a better place to live.

For the most part, everyone is very friendly and helpful and considerate. I do think that they need to have more variety and more common types of food. Trying to hard to make "fancy" foods and it wasn't working also making foods that kid's would eat. Saw a lot of food left on plates that the residents were not eating. It was a major complaint of my mother's.

Staff is very friendly, helpful, and hardworking. The move-in and move-out process was easy. I would recommend this facility.

I like it here, and I like the neighborhood. I would recommend to others.

Meals are not the best, deserts have no consistency. If you get food to your room, you just get what's left over. Food needs improvement. Staff very nice. I would recommend to others.

We picked this community, because of the location. It just wasn't a good fit for my young and active mom. It's maybe, a place that I would recommend to other families.

The monthly cost for rent has far exceeded the rate of inflation this year. At the same time, the food quality has dropped, and the general manger's position has not been filled for several months. The staff members are awesome; they are overworked and assuming responsibilities they did not sign up for.

The staff and residents are very friendly. They all made my Mom feel very welcome when she moved in. The kitchen is very small with not much counter space, but purchased a microwave stand and it helped immensely. The bedroom is really good size as is the bathroom but needs a cabinet on the wall for storage of towels. But 2 good size closets in bedroom and huge closet in kitchen/living room area. The apartment overall is good size and comfortable and roomy.

If is wasn't for [name removed] and [name removed]. The wheels would come off. [name removed] is useless. Legacy Therapy keeps me here. I would tell other to keep on looking! They don't even have enough people to serve meals. And they know when someone from corporate is coming. They bring more people in. It is dang sure not we were told coming in. They didn't tell the truth about the age group here. I'm [age removed] and am by far one of the youngest ones here. They tell me the other ones don't come out

Residents were very friendly and overall seem to like where they live, that stood out to us here. The staff seems to enjoy their job and want residents to feel at home. Activities are offered. Weekly housekeeping is provided including linens. Very clean facility. Would recommend.

They've been very open, helpful, and kind. I feel very secure leaving my mom in their care. The apartments are good, and it's nice to see her more settled. It has taken a few months, but she's starting to like it and get more comfortable there. One thing she was looking forward to was the women's bible study, and she was disappointed to find out it doesn't meet anymore!

This is a nice clean comfortable, and secure place. The staff are good to work with. Some of the activities available for the residents are bingo, movie night, happy hours, and more to choose from.

Very nice place. I noticed great friendly interaction between my "tour guide" and residents. A bit pricey for our budget but it would be worth it.

Our families experience has been great so far, they have been very good to our loved one. The kindness of all the staff members and their willingness to make sure our loved one is taken care of. The maintenance team is right on top of everything if there is anything in the apartment that needs fixing they are their immediately. The entire staff team from the house keeping to the very top are wonderful. Our loved one is really enjoying her stay at Dogwood Estates.
