I think the meals is where most are not fully pleased. Quality and quantity.

My aunt is not happy there and is moving out. Staff is very shorthanded. Almost everyone complains about the facility. We have found the maintenance staff to be very helpful. I know they are trying to correct some of these things.

It's in the top 5% of affordable independent living communities. Better than 95% of what I shopped for for a loved one.

My Mom's experience there has been wonderful. Three meals a day along with housekeeping once a week is great. There are a lot of activities to do. Great staff and nice residents. They are doing renovations to make a nice place even nicer. My Mom really loves it there.

My one bedroom apartment is very comfortable and it is cleaned on a weekly schedule. I pay no utilities and have air conditioning and comfortable heating. The dining is down home cooking and tasty. I’m very, presently, happy living at this location.

If my friend was in a wheelchair or used a walker I'd say they would fit right in. The facilities are kept nicely and it feels like a comfortable place. The meals are good quality but it is removed from any community center so unless you can walk(which my brother does) you have to take their jitney bus to go shopping or to pre-scheduled events. It's nice but not for every lifestyle

Although short staffed, they work hard to keep the residents happy. It is an independent living facility that is affordable, yet nice. My mother seems to like the facility, staff, and residents - although she is quiet and will sometimes miss out on things she wants. The recent renovations were nice, however, the staffing shortage is unfortunate (and certainly not limited to this facility). Hopefully their continued efforts to improve will continue to refine the experience.

My loved one is currently a resident at Holiday Diamond Ridge and overall it has been a good experience so far. They are currently redoing the common areas, so those should be nicely updated. If the food improves, which they are working on, then Holiday Diamond Ridge would be great!

My loved one was previously a resident at Holiday Diamond Ridge and the experience was okay. However, in my opinion, it is not worth the cost. The value for cost is not good. I believed that it was initially, but I do now. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this facility to others.

It was nice in the beginning when [name removed] was there now that she is gone the staff has gone down hell they are not friendly anymore. The GM that they have now is not on site as much as they need to be and they are not friendly to any of the staff or the residents who live there. My mother stated the other day that they are running out of food, not being hot, the same stuff almost every day, and not much to choose from since the beginning of December.

The Holiday Diamond Ridge community is conveniently located to many different places, and that is something we really like about the community. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

My loved one is a resident at Holiday Diamond Ridge. The staff is friendly. The grounds are beautiful. The housekeeping has been excellent, they even make the beds once a week. However, the food needs to be improved and there should be a basic choice always available (ie: hamburger/hotdog). I think more activities need to be offered for the residents. Also, repairs need to be done in a more timely manner.

We enjoyed our visit to tour Diamond Ridge. [name removed], the sales manager, was very welcoming and worked hard to make us feel at ease. We were pleased with the grounds which are well-kept and the units we saw were a decent size compared to other locations we had visited. Ultimately, we did move our loved one into Diamond Ridge based on location and budget. We have been there about a month. We would recommend those with loved ones that are still mobile and very independent or that can hire a private aide to assist. The two things that might need consideration, if they are important to you, are the fact that there is no overnight personnel and the food service is not great. Overall, we are pleased with the unit and the move, the assistant manager, [name removed] has been kind and the sales manager, [name removed], continues to be a positive highlight to the place.

July 11, 2023Thank you for sharing your positive experience! Please don't hesitate to reach back out for any more information!
The food is pre-made and they serve a lot of the same fried and breaded meals. I prefer to have fresh foods. I was told that meals were going to be chef prepared. Which here means that the so called chef only places an already prepared meal onto a plate. They just raised my rent. I'm not able to get all the meals, since I work. I only have a studio, so I think it could be a lot cheaper or have internet in the rooms instead of the common rooms. Which is in the center of the building. Or have certain plans like I don't get all meals, that you could substitute having internet in my room. I do think it would be helpful if they had a lockbox that we could drop our rent checks off in. Overall I am satisfied, I am happy it is a pet friendly facility. I would recommend, but they do need to listen to the residents.

July 11, 2023At Holiday Diamond Ridge, the feedback of our families and residents is important to us. Thank you for sharing and it is our pleasure to serve our residents and families.
We toured Holiday Diamond Ridge and it was a very nice facility, but it didn't have a 'community' feel based on the size of the facility and the long hallways. The tour was very nice.

It's pretty clean. They have been short staffed, for a few months,. My loved one complains about the food. The quality of the food has been horrible. I would not recommend to anyone. They need to improve on everything. My loved one has had issues with the outlets. They are in the process of getting new management.

March 14, 2023Thanks for reaching out to share your concerns. We value having your loved one in our community. I’ve shared your review with our Regional Vice President and he shared that the community has a new General Manager starting next week and the Regional Culinary Director has visited the community recently to speak with residents about their dining experience and work with the kitchen staff. Our Regional Vice President is happy to talk with you about these and any other concerns. Please email us at CustomerService@AtriaSeniorLiving.com and we’ll pass along your contact information.
My mom and I met with the Community Sales Manager for the tour. She was very informative and pleasant. The gentleman receptionist was very welcoming and also introduced himself and offered support for any issues or concern My mom or I have. My mom has only been there for a month. The complaints my mom had (apt no getting cleaned, no bread at dinner, to hot in her apt), I mentioned to the Community Sales Manager & the receptionist. Both were very responsive in getting these issues taken care of. Both of these employees are very easy to talk to and helpful.

A Place for Mom has scored Diamond Ridge 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
