Davis Place

He passed away on [date removed]. Davis Place was great and the people there were fantastic. I hear they are under new ownership though.

This facility can’t keep staff, doesn’t follow care plans or starting meds when they’re supposed to, have to wait several minutes for anyone to answer the door, can’t appropriately care for the residents they do have, if a resident falls they leave them on the floor alone until emt gets there, will increase your bill with no heads up or pre planning, didn’t report appropriately for resident incidents, no nurse or ED that stays long enough to know the residents or even one that is there to care for the residents and to support the staff, staff are rude/overwhelmed, will tell you no injuries but then you see your loved one and total opposite, and even leaves the med cart computer open to resident info and no staff to be around with family members walking past this.

My family and loved one had an excellent experience with Davis Place. The staff are extremely kind, courteous, and caring to the residents. They are caring as well. We would recommend Davis Place to others for their loved ones.

My Aunt [name removed] was 97 years old. She was in pretty good health when she entered The Davis Place in Bullhead City. Her little apartment was very cozy, and the staff kept it very clean. Staff always took care of her needs in a very timely manner. Staff was always very friendly and helpful to my wife and I, and always answered all of our questions and took care of all of our concerns. The staff took note that other than my wife and I, [name removed] didn't get many visitors. They would always tell my wife and I how happy they were that we came to visit [name removed]. [name removed] passed away last week. The whole staff was very attentive and cordial. From management to janitorial, everyone was always professional and willing to help, with whatever we needed. We appreciate each and every one of them and would recommend The Davis Place for anyone needing to place their loved one in an assisted living facility.

My loved one has had a difficult transition here, and it seems like some of the staff can't handle him. So I don't understand what they're doing in that job if they don't have more patience. Some of the everyday people either lack the training or the ability to deal with it, but I've had no problems with the upper staff. The two people in particular who I deal with the most, the director and the nurse, are very cooperative, easygoing, and understanding of my situation. I get really good help from them.

They are friendly, attentive and responsive. The community seems to have a great concern and care for the residents. My loved one has made comments about the food and not up to their standard.

We chose Davis Place because it was recommenced to us, it was most affordable, and we were able to get in to tour and liked the staff. There are plenty of activities for him to participate in here and he really likes the food. He has improved since being here and we are very pleased with the facility. We would recommend to others looking.

We have had a very good experience so far at Davis Place. We chose this facility because it was recommended to us and we looked at some others and I felt that from the outside this facility looked very nice. We also had a virtual tour and were impressed. The staff member here are very kind and helpful, they let us facetime with my mom since she is unable to talk on the cell phone. I would recommend them to others looking.

We are so impressed with the staff and care that my Mom is receiving.. All are so responsive to her needs and genuinely friendly and caring. Reluctant is an understatement about how she felt about moving. She is now happy, participates in activities and states she can’t imagine people not liking it here.

The team at Davis Place are professional, problem solving and have the biggest hearts! They really care about each of their residence and show them every day in every way. It feels like a family environment.

Very good experience! Their nurse is so thourough and focused on each of the very specific personal and medical needs of each client and family. The administration is a real tea, they smile and laugh with you as well as listen and comfort you during difficulties, true problem solvers.We feel like it is a family there, each staff member helps to promote a very safe clean and dignified environment for each of its clients and there families. So happy to have our family there.

Davis Place has a good reputation in the neighborhood. The staff treat myself and my mom like family. They are very helpful and treat my mom very very well. The community is clean and well taken care of. I have not tried the food but my mom has not complained about it and she has actually gained weight. She participates in all the activities such as bingo, crafts and singalongs.

Food disgusting

This is a beautiful facility with very nice rooms. It is always spotless and the grounds are gorgeous too. The staff is so caring and they really welcomed us into the facility with open arms. We love the other Senior's here too. The food is wonderful and there are a variety of activities for the residents to choose from.

I cannot say enough good about them. The staff was fabulous. I felt that they were good communicators and my loved one was going to be in good hands because of their attention to detail and the way they cared for her with gentleness. They were wonderful.

My mom is a critic, and she really likes the food, she enjoys the people, and it feels like a very safe environment for her. She's comfortable, happy, and Davis House definitely has a home-type atmosphere.

They were really good at working with us to get mom in there, and at an affordable price. Any time there are any issues they are great at working with us and accommodating us wherever possible. They are great with my mom, who is 91 and can be really difficult to deal with. I do think there are times when they can use a little additional staff, but that is the only criticism I can think of. Overall they have really been great.
