Crestwood Health Care Center, L.L.C.

Crestwood has a five star rating and we took our love one there. The services are terrible. My daughter had fallen at least five times that I know of. I don't see the nurses leaving their stations. The highlight of the day is meal time. The workers get their food first and put it up, and serve the patients last. They lose your clothes when they wash. I have seen patients in my daughter's clothes. This place serves the mentally ill very well, because they don't know what to expect. The helpers don't help the patients clean themselves. It's just a shame. I had to remove my daughter.

Visited facility today received a warm welcome.

Its 12 noon and I just got off the phone with director. She told me they are a single level facility that can provide for Momma with dialysis. She said that I can come by and take tour with one of the nurses anytime day or night. She gave me all of the ins and outs of what to expect when Momma and I apply for Medicaid. In the words of the Lord, "Be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove." I will visit the center on Saturday after Rancho Manor. I called her back at 12:15 and had an extended conversation about applying for Momma's medicaid and how to get an updated power of attorney form. If Momma wants to do an updated Power of Attorney form, the package can be purchased from Office depot or Office Max and diredtor is also a notary who can authorized it as well. On another note, she suggested that I apply for Momma's Medicaid before I place her if she is not comming directly from the hospital. Director is an excellent resource in the placement of elders.
