Country View Assisted Living

After searching for the perfect place for my dad we finally found Country View and it is better than we expected. The staff is amazing, friendly, attentive, and they care. My dad enjoys the food and activities provided. We’re thankful we found them. He is very happy here. We recommend this assisted living for anyone who is looking.

They could use more staff. The existing staff are all super hard working and quality caregivers. The facility is old but clean. I go often, at least weekly and it is always clean. Some meals are done well, but too often I see hot dogs, or lunch meat on white bread and chips served at lunch/dinner time. They should be conscious about salt intake in elderly. I hear breakfast is good, but it often has sausage, which again is very salty. Overall, the staff care a lot and do their best at all times. I love the nurse there. Everyone is kind.

I placed my mother in this facility April of this year and have been pleased beyond expectations. I saw within the 1st week a marked improvement in overall well being. The staff is extremely easy to deal with and you can tell genuinely cares about their residents. The other residents are friendly and made my mother feel welcome right. My mother also says the food is good and plentiful. I also am amazed at the number of activities that are planned on a daily basis I visit at least 3 times a week and am very happy.

They allow smoking everyone. If you don’t smoke you have .zero rights. Your room is filled with second hand smoke. The outside area is for smokers. There is NOT an are for non smokers. Some residents sell marijuana and can be smelled as you pass rooms. Ha!!! Activities are stupid. Bingo and others. Not enough to stimulate the residents. Staff… especially [name removed] are so rude. Food is not suited to te residents. Mostly carbs. And sugar based. Don’t send your loved ones here.

I am happy with the facility, and impressed with the two who seem to be the managers, [name removed] and [name removed] , although not so much with the others who have answered the phones outside of regular hours. I have a couple of other concerns, probably too trivial to publish. I am grateful to A Place For Mom for finding this for my family member! It has been a life-saver! Also want to mention that the price was great at the time my family member moved in, though it has probably increased since then.

This facility helps mostly low income residents. The majority qualify for Medi-Cal as well as Medicare. I don't feel like too much effort or money is spent on food. Sometimes dinner is a ham sandwich with chips or a hot dog. I feel like that should never be a dinner time meal with so many other options. Staff are friendly and work hard. Residents are also friendly.

Everything is super clean, they are super friendly, very professional. It is very well taken care of and the staff is awesome. My mom fell the other day and they were there in a heartbeat. I am very pleased overall.
