The one thing I use them for is respite, so my loved one goes for a long weekend with seems to be kind of hard to find. The community is clean and the staff is friendly. I think they’re a really good value for what they do.

Loved this place. Angela was very helpful and the activities available were awesome. The apartment was lovely and the ability to have your pet just added to it. Unfortunately my friend has decided to go live with her daughter.

We are really happy with them. It was a much better rate than we had been paying at other places. I give them a five plus for value. They are non profit and have an all inclusive rate. They call immediately if there is ever anything going on. We don't use the activities really so I can't comment much on that, but I know they offer a lot of things to do. But it is a hurricane safe building. Each room has their own private shower, so they don't have to go to the shower room. We have been really happy with the administration there, they are very accommodating.

Excellent value, my father-in-law is in the locked down unit, he has Alzheimer's/dementia. They have bible study 3x a week, and church services there. They do rides on Fridays, they take them out for joy rides. He wasn't happy before, but he really likes Century Oaks. It seems to have a consistent crew, and he is receiving much better care than before. They are good, they call with any issue or problem, and we are very pleased. I wish they did a little more with an area to congregate, they only have the dining room and the area by the nurses station to hang out. The memory unit is very small, very confined. It's a short hallway, not more than 20 people. It would be nice if the residents could get out of the locked down floors and do things with other residents. It's a give and take, better service, but a more confined area. The food is great, if he doesn't like what they are feeding him they always have hamburgers. He loves hamburgers!

Really nice spacious apartments. Lots of amenities. Most of all, residents were happy and interacting with staff and each other. Staff also were cheerful, helpful and relaxed. Hurricane category 4 rated building - not having to evacuate was a big plus for my parents.

A Place for Mom has scored Century Oaks 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
