This place is not recommended. They are not professional, don't know how to assess your loved one upon admission. Will intentionally incorrectly assess your loved one so you pay less (selling point) and then charge you for it later once admitted and plus. They provide your loved one old furniture and then make you pay for new furniture claiming that it was damaged by your loved one. The food is horrible, don't take my word try it. Always serving pasta with tomato paste in it that causes acid and heartburn. If you really love your family member find another place for them because this isn't the place.

The home is beautiful, well taken care of, and always evolving to better suit the needs of the residents. The care staff are friendly, empathetic, and compassionate. Residents are happy, comfortable, and very well taken care of with a large spectrum of differing needs. The staff are happy to listen when there is a concern, and make every effort to solve issues that may arise. It truly feels like a home!

My mother has been atCasa Dolce for almost two years. The staff is wonderful, they go out of their way to make her feel she is important to them. My mother has mild-moderate dementia and she never wanted to be in a retirement home but always says the people are so good. The chefs are friendly care about their nutritional needs. It is very clean, maintenance is always on top of things. I can’t say enough about the nursing staff, they are very professional and happy to do their job efficiently. The price is reasonable and even better than similar facilities. So glad my mom is there, it gives our family, who visit regularly, peace of mind, that she’s in good hand. Thank you to all the staff and management at Casa Dolce.

Just wanted to share my experience with Casa Dolce Casa: 1. Cleanliness: Place is fairly clean put nothing to brag about. From day one, the place has a smell to it that seems to be a combination of cleaning product and a just a bad odor. If you are wondering what it smells like, go into the front stairwell and inhale deeply. This smell lingers throughout the entire building. Rooms are cleaned regularly but only in areas that you see. Tops of furniture is NEVER dusted. 2. Friendliness: All the staff are very friendly and approachable. This is the only good comment I can share with this place. 3. Value: VERY expensive! It starts very high and then it just goes higher from there. Any additional service comes with additional costs. Nearly every monthly invoice we got just continued to go higher and higher. As well, prices go up on a regular basis. Price increase notices don't occur until months later (probably after someone complained). 4. Care Services: Care Services are average at best. Although the staff are good, the cost is very high. As well, I noticed that there is heavy turnover with the staff. Not sure why but a lot of the better people have since departed. 5. Food: The food used to be very good but has since gone down hill, since 2018, and continues to get worse. This started once their chef left in early 2018. He was temporarily replaced by somebody's mother but she couldn't handle the large volume of food. 6. Activities: There are a few activities but they are managed by only 2 people. They can't manage groups that can include as many as 30-40 residents.

My mom was there for nearly 9 weeks this summer. The staff and nurses were amazing. We were on vacation so I was not able to go see my mom. All communication was through email. I had family members go to see my mom and all said she was fine. She has dementia Alzheimers high functioning so I was concerned about her since I would not be able to go see her.... [Name removed] assured me and told me to enjoy my vacation she would be fine..... Definitely true! I recommend Casa Dolce Casa for your loved ones. It is privately owned so a bit pricey, but there is no price on loved ones. Thank you all

My family has had an amazing experience at the Retirement Home. Lots of quality services offered and the staff have shown they really truly care about the residents well being. If you are into high class service and furnished suites, this is the home for you.

Worse management ever. They stole money from my family member. They are liars and scammers. Hang on to your wallet people, they will rip you off. Don’t consider this awful place. I learned the hard way.

My family had a terrible experience at this retirement home. Management was unreasonable and hard to deal with. They ripped us off keeping one month rent because an affordable placement came up and we had to accept it immediately. They refuse to refund $3K. We are not rich and very much needed this money to live. Casa Dolce owes us one month rent. They didn’t care about us, they care about taking our money. Be careful.
