We have had major issues with regard to medications, getting them ordered and administered on schedule. Ultimately we have taken that responsibility back and administering them ourselves. The quality of the food as well as the portion sizes has been extremely disappointing. I will say that staff and the administration are quick to respond with any questions or concerns.Honestly overall my mom is happy and that's what matters most.

My brother lived there for several years when it was Brookdale, and I have very good memories, both the quality of care and the warmth of the caregivers. We will probably need to make a move ourselves before too long and Cardinal will be the first place we'll visit. I'll be going soon to donate to the library and likely take a tour for sentiment's sake.

I have been very pleased in my visiting this facility. The staff, cleanliness and care has great. I have referred several friends who need places for their loved ones. I have never been there for in house activities but have seen the seniors going out on the bus and they always seem to have enjoyed it when they return.

This was a live Zoom tour of the facility due to my schedule and saving me 3 hours of driving time to and from my home location. There are some stars on the form below I left as N/A since I was not there in person. Also, I had to click on "assisted living" to get the form to be accepted/finalized. I am actually looking for a larger living space, more catered to independent living, which is what I need initially, as opposed to assisted living from the start. If this need changes, I'm happy to look at this location again in future. This facility looked nice and adequate from what I could see on the Zoom tour, and [name removed] was gracious and covered my many questions. Thank you.

I looked at a lot of different communities for my mom and knew Cave Spring Place was the place for her immediately upon walking into the door. The staff and residents were very welcoming. The staff made the transition for my mom very smooth and easy. I feel safe having my mom in her "new home".

November 17, 2022Thanks for the review and feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share with us, and we’re so glad to hear that you’re so happy with your mom's care. Thank you again! – Team Enlivant
The main reasons we chose Cave Spring place is because of the convenient location and the value for the money . The rooms were also extremely nice. The biggest complaint is the process of getting in and out. The front door remains locked (which I totally understand) and you have to ring a bell to get in, and sometimes there is no one near the door so we have to wait. Then coming back out is even worse because you have to find someone to let you out. Overall I would recommend this facility to other families.

This community was clean and nice. I did another pop up visit and when I walked in it smelled like men's cologne and was not as clean. They also seemed to be a little pushy and I let them know that I was looking at other options. They called a lot and just seemed to pushy.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was wonderful the lady was very lovely but another community was able to accept our loved one with their level of care.
Our family had an in person tour experience and it is a very nice community, and the tour was very good. Everyone we met with was very friendly.
We did a tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider. The community was very nice and they were very accommodating to us. They also followed up with and made sure all our questions were answered.
I called and spoke with them. Rooms are small for the price, and would be out of our budget.

The community is very clean, and the care givers take care of our loved one really well and they are all friendly. The activities are picking back up, but the meals could use improvement. It says on the menu that you can choose two different options but that is not the case, you either eat what they serve or not at all.

The community is very genuine in how they care for the residents. Sometimes they relay on the family for care of the resident to speak up. They have memory games, art work, and more for activities for the resident.

Unfortunately for me, this ALF ended up, with careful probing by me, being much more expensive than my current ALF with not as many amenities, tangible and intangible. I believe [name removed] was reluctant to answer a few of my questions, due to this "not being my first rodeo", so to speak, such as answering "how much is this per month?" with "It's such and such dollars PER DAY", probably guessing most of us can't do math in our heads. But thank you for the opportunity to visit this delightful, if expensive for me, community.

I was impressed with the staff/ resident ratio, the layout of the facility, the fact that they provided continued care allowing movement to higher care levels while being able to stay in the same room.

The care of my mother-in-law seemed to be the first concern of [name removed] during my visit. We spent considerable time discussing her needs. The facility was open, clean and bright. Doors to the outside were locked at all times which was comforting to me. During our tour, [name removed] greeted all residents by name who responded with a "Hi" or smile. The facility was on one floor and all hallways led to the main entry area where the dining room was located. The studio rooms were large enough for a twin bed, desk or table, chair and tv. There was a large window in each room which let in a lot of natural light.
