Place is filthy. Aides do not take proper care of residents. They are always dirty and always getting hurt. Over 150 ambulance calls in under 6 months. The new head of the place has no clue what she is doing and has ran the place into the ground. Beds are broken and dirty, they don't even have proper bedding for residents. Always poorly staffed so the aides are miserable and not helpful at all. Day shift aide curses at residents and ignores them. Several aides were put under investigation for abuse, 1 on camera and was terminated even though ED wanted to keep her. Do not send your loved ones here.

Find a better place if possible. Way to expensive. The head nurse was a big help but every one else not good. My brother got hurt under their watch, had to be hospitalized.

Overall experience could be better. Cleanliness was appropriate. Friendliness good during the day bad at night. Workers and care needs improvement. Food was undesirable. Value for the money could be better- charged too much. Need a shuttle bus for doctor appointments. Could be more accommodations provided. Activities were ok. Better accommodations and watching patient better needed.
I would highly recommend it based on my research with pricing and other facility. This one provides the services I need at a good value.

A Place for Mom has scored Cambridge Riverview 5.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
