Brookdale Tamarac Square

I like the fact that she can go and have good meals twice a day and that she is driven to her doctors appointments. They also have weekly outings to different store that makes it very convenient. Also, they clean her apartment once a week with basic beds and vacuuming type stuff.

Every time I enter - someone greets me by name. My brother is very happy at Brookdale. He is finally meeting new people & reaching out to participate in more activities. Thank you!

It needs good communication in the any of services areas and following up with progress!!! It needs to evaluate by residents inputs on each categories!

My wife and I have lived at Brookdale for three years now! We just LOVE it! We like the staff, we like the residents, and we like the many activities. It is hard to measure the excellent attention and spirit of this community, but is so high it tops other independent living communities by a long ways. We highly recommend it!

Management is superior, the director, sales, transportation, meals, and front desk go beyond to make residents feel comfortable and special. I moved from another senior living place but this one is better and more comfy.

Staff is professional and helpful in every way. All of staff smile and seem to enjoy their jobs. They all do a hell of a job! Their chef really does a good job working within people's diets and likes.

I think its a very nice place to live. They are great to take us to stores & appointments. Help us if we need with something.

I love living at Brookdale. I feel that everyone here is my family. I wouldn't want to live any place else. There isn't anything the staff wouldn't do for us.

All of the people here are very friendly. There are also many activities to do onsite from bingo to wii bowling to bridge and poker. They also have a lovely store which I just love to go visit often. I like to do bingo and wii bowling every week.

after living at Brookdale for 2 year I find it meets all my needs and provides sufficient needs including transportation, entertainment, physical conditioning and mental stimulating programs as well

I moved from a senior living facility in Denver to Brookdale Tamarac Square two year ago. I am well pleased with the Brookdale facility and appreciate the staff that greets the residents with friendly smile

All went very well till the ladies moved in. The care continued to be very good. There appeared to be a drop in sharing of ladies as far as how they were/are getting along. Overall I have been pleased with the staff and care.

The most favorable thing for my friend has been the meals. He's very impressed wit the kitchen staff, and in particular the soup chef. They have very good food, and I hear a lot of other people make that comment as well. They've done a good job catering to seniors in that respect. The apartment is very nice, and he likes it. He's had very favorable interactions with the other residents. He's met a lot of people. They say hi to one another and call each other by name, which is a real positive. And it's fairly inexpensive compared to a lot of places. I think he's absolutely getting his dollar's worth.

I love, love, love Brookdale Tamarac Square! It's a beautiful facility. The staff is very welcoming and each staff member I've dealt with has offered great customer/resident service. The residents appear happy. There's a nice sense of community inside. I love the restaurant style dining and the food was excellent! While the building itself may be old, it is very clean. I love the small store inside as well as the nail and hair salon inside. Brookdale offers alot of activities for their residents. There is a staff member at the front desk 24/7 (yes, overnight too!) which I really appreciate. I toured 3 facilities total and this one very much surpassed the other two. My dad is moving here and I couldn't be happier as I think he will very much enjoy living here!

The tour was good, and the residents were very happy to speak with me and let me know they were happy here. This is a top notch community, and the staff treat us wonderfully. The food is gourmet like and the community has a chef and a sous chef. The community has already hired a new activities director, and there are at least 150 activities offered a month. The new activities director has already asked the residents what additional activities they would like to see incorporated. They offer exercise classes each day. They have different counseling groups for the residents to join. Everything I need to feel good is available at Brookdale. I have no complaints about the food, activities, or anything about the community. The maintenance requests are handled promptly.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and goes above and beyond for the residence. The community is neat and clean and the food is good. They have lots of activities including outings and really seem to have something for everyone. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
