The atmosphere - trees, grass, meeting rooms - is so nice. Can stay inside building for all meals and meetings. People are friendly - includes staff, mgt., and fellow residents. Meaningful - religious, entertainment, intellectual and physical - classes, activities, and viewing.
I like the activities. Would like to have more [unreadable] activities. I feel safe here. Can walk outside and feel safe. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I don't like waiting to be seated but I see the reason for it. Food is a good selection.
There is an entertainer that has been appearing here on the 1st Friday of every month for at least 20 years. HIs name is [name removed]. He is an accomplished pianist and sometimes vocalizes. He takes suggestions/requests for the next month. He remembers the person who the request is for. . . next performance. He is so gracious and popular that residents gather as early as an hour beforehand. Seats are taken quickly. Wonderful and uplifting! Thanks Activities Director [name removed]! ??
I am very pleased to be able to enjoy the wonderful music by [name removed]. Every time he has come here to entertain us, I leave with a pleasant feeling left by listening to wonderful music played by a very talented pianist. I am so pleased we can, once again, enjoy this music. Thank you.
I love Brookdale. Both [initials removed] and [initials removed] have taken great care of my soon to be 86 year old mom. They are attentive, caring, and considerate of their residents. So loving and passionate. They take their time and have great patience with each resident. Caregivers, med techs, and directors are awesome. Extremely clean facility and great food. Love the activities and gatherings. Residents can still enjoy life with love here.

Toured with [name removed] and she was very helpful. The 1 bedroom area she showed me was very spacious. She interacted with the residents and knew them by name. Very homelike feeling.

I .came here today after cancelling my appointment by mistake. The lady at the front desk was not friendly and didn’t even want to see if someone would be able to offer me the tour since I was there. I’ll cancel my appointment on the [date removed].

I’m moving in here soon with my wife. The atmosphere feels like home, the rooms are bigger than another facility she was staying at, and it includes a private bathroom. Right off the living room, there’s a patio that I can go out on that’s fenced in. There’s a courtyard and places you can walk around, almost like a picnic area. You really don’t feel like you’re living in a facility. You get 2 meals a day that are included in the price and if you want a third meal then it’s extra. The room has a kitchenette, though, so we’re able to make our own food if we want to. So far, the staff has been very friendly and I think they’re knowledgeable about the type of care that my wife is going to need. They also have memory care and nursing care available just in case, which I like
