The care is very good. Staff are very patient with residents. The staff takes the time to understand the loved ones needs. As an out of state daughter, anytime I called to talk to my dad, the staff would get him to talk to me. I thought that was great. Thank you so much for caring for my dad!

It looked pretty good. They had no openings available for my loved one. It would have been a good place. The staff was nice.
This was a very good community. It was lacking a homey feeling that we were looking for our loved one.
I had a wonderful tour experience at Brookdale North Mesa. All of the staff were super friendly and answered all of our questions before and after the tour. The main reason we did not go with this facility was because it is larger. My loved one has some vision impairments, so we thought a smaller setting would make it easier for her to get around. Otherwise this seemed like a great place.
The people of Brookdale North Mesa and community are amazing. They all take care of each other.

The director is very engaged and all of the staff do a great job connecting with families and making sure the residents feel welcome. The food is ok, it would be great to see more a la carte options between meal times. My father sometimes sleeps through breakfast and it would be great to see a few more options available to him during those in between meal times. Housekeeping is good overall. They take pride in the facility and keep it clean and looking nice. The activities are great, but they only do one outing per week and can only take so many residents on each outing. I think more options and/or availability would be nice. They seem to cater to residents interests for the activities and outings though, which is great. There here has been some recent turnover lately, but most of the staff has been there for a long time, which I really like. I would recommend this facility!

The staff is very friendly and seem to really care about the residents and they keep mom in line - they do a great job with her. The facility is smaller and all on one level so the care is more intimate.

I toured Brookdale and had a fair experience. to my understanding, Brookdale uses a 3rd party service that provides care givers. I preferred to pay more at another community to ensure the staff are more like family of that community, rather than a temporary placement. we chose another community because the care staff were directly employed through that community.

I was not a fan of our tour with Brookdale North Mesa. It was institutional and even the outside looked like a hospital, we were looking for something that was more homey.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community. It was very clean and well taken care of. However the location was not in an area our loved one was familiar with which is why we did not choose it, but it was very beautiful.
We were really impressed with this property - sparkling clean, no "old people" odors, friendly staff, and beautiful grassy courtyard. It accepts ALTC and does not currently have a waiting list. Only 30 minutes from our residence so very convenient as well. Best of all, we believe that Mom would approve of this facility as well!

Under staff, inattentive to residents. Promises are made and not kept. They claim to help with dementia and aging adults, more interested in just letting them do their own thing ignoring them.

Everyone was most helpful. My sister has had her problems and everyone was most gracious. Even after I moved her to a smaller place, [name removed], executive director of of Brookdale North Mesa, still helped me with the moving experience. Cooperation is the key to success. I was not impressed with this community as it felt cold and hospital like. The person that took us on tour was nice and helpful. From what I saw on my tour the community looked clean. I did not think this community would work for my loved one.

I like the care at this community for my mom. The staff is friendly and caring. We are happy that they had what we wanted for mom. The meals are outstanding and a nice variety. I like knowing that my mom is participating with the other residents in the activities that are offered. The community is clean and we would recommend other families to see everything that is offered for the care of a loved one.
