Brookdale Monroe

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and kind. I really appreciate the care they give my mom. We picked this community because of the location.

My mom has had wonderful care, and receives the help she needs with showering and other care needs. Offer activities and outings for lunch for the residents which are great and the staff encourages the residents to participate.

Great community for memory care. The Clare Bridge house does exactly what is best for my loved one. They are always giving them the respect they deserve and do their best to redirect. Great overall care, staff are amazing and seem to always know what is going on! A bit high on pricing, but the care makes it worth it. I do not have to worry when I am not visiting, although I visit often.

It was a relief to walk into the homey atmosphere of Brookdale after touring other facilities. People who work at Brookdale Monroe MI are the most wonderful with the residents and their smiles are contagious. So glad this spot is available for my mom. Thank you!!

Since moving the person I am responsible for to Brookdale Monroe, I have been impressed with a number of things. The most important is the genuine love and concern that staff on all levels give her. They enjoy her as she is. I have always found her room clean, her bed made and her personal things neatly arranged even though she does not take as much interest in it all as she once did. She is encouraged to use the abilities she has rather than only look at where there has been diminishment.

Very satisfied overall.

The family night we just attended last night was a great time. It was nice to hear they are going to try to do one once a month. My father in laws room is perfect for what he needs!

The facility was tremendous, the staff was loving and caring and the food was good. My wife was only there for 10 days before she passed away and it cost me about[amount removed], which I thought was a lot for 10 days. Originally their price per month was lower, and considering the wonderful facilities and fantastic staff it seemed like the best place for the money even though it was a longer distance from my home.

Really feel like majority of staff treat residents with utmost respect, dignity and make them truly feel like it their home! Facility size is great for my loved one, not too overwhelming...keep outdoors nice and easily accessible to enjoy the fresh air. Rooms are good for my Mom...not too much to handle, small sink, fridge & cupboards, bathroom good, shower could be slightly larger but bench already in place and they do have larger shower if needed.

The size of the facility is terrific, not too big or small. Very very friendly and accommodating staff. I believe my Mom is getting individualized care and GENUINE attention from all staff! Not just daily staff but leadership very available and they communicate very well! I feel confident I can call anytime day or night. Best place for her and our family! Highly recommend for all that goes into caring for a loved one! All staff above and beyond with a personal touch to make residents and family feel safe and cared for!

The staff was fantastic and more loving than I could ever have hoped for. When it comes to the activities they had puzzles and the sort but my wife wasn't able to participate. Based on our experience we would definitely recommend Brookdale Monroe to other families.

Brookdale Monroe is an absolutely wonderful place. They went out of their way to help us. The day mom passed, one of the gals actually sat with her and we thought that was very nice. They were like extended family to us. There is only 19 people in a ward so it is not crowded by any means. I was very impressed with the facility and would absolutely recommend them if you need a locked down facility.

Sometimes I feel my mom is forgotten about. But I think it is because she is less needy than the other residents & they are short staffed quite frequently. Plus she's afraid to ask for help. My mom refuses to participate in any activities so it is hard for me to fairly judge this. From what I have seen they have several activities. It is very expensive in my opinion, but I don't know how it compares to other places. She is happy where she is at.

It is an excellent community. The care is good, the transition into the center is great however after transition the communication is a lot less. My loved one got Covid during the first month, and I believe the communication could have been better, but the care was great. The residents receives 3 meals a day, and they have food choices to choose from. My loved ones favorite activity that they offer is bingo, and they have seasonal activities for the residents as well.

Your loved one will sit in dirty diapers, they will sit in front of food and won't receive help. You will have to hire hospice or another service to see that they are getting cared for. They'll start you at around 5K a month and you will quickly go to 12K. Don't be fooled by the appearance. My mom was here for 4 years. The last 6 months were terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
