Brookdale Meridian Englewood

I have met some very nice people but I was specific when I was looking that I wanted there to be a Jewish presence and sadly that is not the case here. I have been here about 6 months, there is not much to do so I am looking forward to other things starting to open up. I would not recommend if you are Jewish. During Christmas, the whole facility was decked out with Christmas decorations and there was nothing put out for Hanukkah. They put a news letter out with all of the new residents for the past year and my name was not on there.

My father has been here for the last few months. He has been in 4 facilities in the past 9 months. The level of care and the responsiveness of the staff at Meridian has been outstanding. The are making his remaining time as pleasant as possible! I cant say enough about the care he is getting!

I like living here very much. It is a very unique in that it is a continuing care community. Things have change a lot since the COVID, They turned the fourth into a recovery floor for Brookdale COVID patients, which was very good. The care is really quite wonderful here. I chose this community because they had wonderful food but right now the quality of the food it not as good with delivery of the food. I would recommend this community very much so. They are trying very hard to please everybody which is very hard to do. The had zoom meetings with updates and zoom happy hour. The are working on setting up family visits, but they are being very cautious and careful about it.

Really nice place. Loved the cookies. Actually the 1 bedroom apartments are very spacious and the common dining room is very nice. Amenities for my parents are very helpful to have everything in one place. Hair, podiatry, Personal Care, OT, PT, ect. I think my father would actually do his PT. Looking forward to the next steps. Have a couple other places to check out.

My advice is to witness staff Interaction for yourself. Most of the staff is good. One nurse insults and mocks our family member. Administration was notified and ignored the input.

Arrived as scheduled @ 10:30 AM. Stood at the reception desk for 5 minutes before anyone showed up. The lady was very abrupt. Needs to have Customer Service Training. Met w/[name removed]. She greeted us with a big smile and made us feel welcome. On the tour of the facility,we passed several employees. It would certainly make one feel more comfortable about staying in their facility if the staff would show some enthusiasm towards their work and at least smile.

Very nice environment. Exactly what we are looking for - top choice when Mom is ready to move. [name removed] was terrific.

This property is fantastic and I absolutely love it. Everyone is wonderful, the staff is great, the food is great, I just couldn’t be happier. From the other places that I have been into, this one by far exceeds what we had initially thought. [Removed], the woman that we had met and toured with and dealt with after we moved in is absolutely great. What I really like is the community aspect. They provided activities and they have accessibility to their dining hall. How everything was laid out it felt like you are eating your meals at home and not an actual facility. It’s like a big family. The place’s cleanliness is very good as well. I absolutely recommend this community to others.

While looking at various options for my loved one I enjoyed touring this location. However, my loved one did not care for it. Reason being is she prefers a smaller community. The tall buildings were a bit overwhelming and intimidating to her. The apartments weren’t as sunny as she would like either. However, they have mountain views that people would kill for. The food as well was fabulous; it definitely adds longevity to the residents there.

My grandfather was there for care in the last year of his life. I cannot say enough about this facility. Clean, beautifully managed, and a staff of exceptionally professional and caring individuals. I recommend it without reservation. If you want your loved one to be superbly cared for, this is the right place.

Englewood Meridian is a warm and caring place to be at. My wife has been with the company for over 6 years and has helped out at other sites and you don't get the welcome home feeling you get at the Englewood Meridian, I would move in here when I retire.

Brookdale Meridian Englewood was a nice community we toured. The staff was friendly. The community was clean and well-kept. It looked too institutional for our needs. Also, there were no openings at the time when we toured the facility.

My experience was fine in all aspects of it. I got along with the residents. Everything that was told to me was provided to to me as they stated. I have no complaints about the time I was living there, which was for a month. In the future, if I need assistance, this is the community I will be living in.

Friendly staff, good food, this is our finalist. This places offer "personalized living" which is scheduled home care rather than on-demand services and full-time care only. Meals are two per day, plus a full kitchen in the unit, and bi-monthly cleaning is offered in the price, as well as weekly flat laundry service. More services are available at reasonable prices. A single pet is welcome.

My parents are doing well since moving to this location. We had looked at other communities and after seeing the size of the units we decided this would be the right choice for them. They seem to be settling in and getting to slowly know people. The staff is amazing and is trying to get my parents to join in the social activities. The food is good. The community is well taken care of very clean.

We toured this community and it was nice and clean. We liked the staff who were nice and able to answer the questions that we had on the care that is offered. We liked the menu with the good choices of healthy meals. They had a nice list of activities that are offered. We would recommend this community, but it was most costly than what we could afford at the time.

When I was touring Brookdale, I thought it was a very nice place. The person that took me around was friendly and helpful. The facility itself was clean and touring was a good experience to tour.

My stay at Brookdale Englewood is going great! The community is clean and the staff is very friendly. The meals are great. The community has many activities to participate in, we seem to have something different to do every day!

We toured this community for care. We liked the staff who were able to answer the questions we had on care from the community. The variety of meals were appealing. They offer a nice variety of activities. We would recommend the care and the value to other families for there loved ones.

My mother and father both reside in this community. The staff is nice and are attentive. They do offer activities my mother has participated in some. The communication has been good. One thing i really liked was how the staff introduced everything that was available to my parents. The community is well up-kept.
