Brookdale Medford

In the two years my mother has lived at Brookdale, we have found it to be a warm and caring community of residents and staff in a pleasant setting. The staff have been helpful and responsive to any question or need we might have; contacting me periodically to see if I have any concerns.. Mom likes her rooms, finding them comfortable and clean, and she enjoys the walking path daily. Activities are offered for enjoyment as well as for physical and mental health. Brookdale Senior Living has provided a good life for Mom and peace of mind for me. We were blessed to find our place at Brookdale at a turning point in Mom's life.

I'm moving my 93 year old mom up from southern California. [name removed], at Brookdale, guided me through the process, paperwork, etc. Within 1 week, I had secured an apartment for mom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, beautifully appointed and inviting. The residents look happy and at ease. There are numerous activities and there are beautiful walking paths that lead to a koi pond. I'm so happy I found Brookdale!

Thank you the team at Brookdale Medford. My grandma lived here for two years. I have so much peace of mind knowing that she was in a great place. The team became like family to me and often helped provide support to myself and my family as well. I would recommend to anyone wanting their loved one to actually live a life and not just watch TV.

The group here really became like a family to me when my grandfather was there before he passed. They were always so kind and friendly and treated me so special every time I came in to visit him. He loved living there. It became his home and was treated so well. Made us have such peace of mind to have such caring folks taking care of him.

One of the few senior living centers in this area with a Medicaid contract. Long wait times in dinning room. Often not enough seating in dinning room. Food temperature and quality is poor.

My dad had a heart attack and my parents were not able to go back to their home of 65 years. I needed a place immediately for my mom to begin to reside. Veronica at Brookdale was instrumental at securing a room for my mom on the much needed ground floor. The entire staff at Brookdale have been excellent at welcoming my mom and helping her feel comfortable and settle in under such a difficult family situation. Everyone calls her by her first name each and every time, and daily we are greeted with smiles, cleanliness, and a continuing willingness to help our family. Thank you Brookdale!!

The meal provided under the direction of [name removed] was the most outstanding presentation and meal that I have ever experience as a 90 year old man. Exceptional presentation to encourage prospective new membership at Brookdale.

When looking for an Assisted Living, it is important to note that not only is the community appealing and home like, but the care for your senior is available and is the best. Brookdale Medford delivers on both. The building is clean and the staff makes sure it stays that way. Someone is always vacuuming, dusting and picking up. The staff is so friendly and goes out of their way to help each and every resident with all their needs. They say hello to every guest and make everyone feel welcome. Brookdale is my first choice for senior care for my parents.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Brookdale Medford, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was evident that cleanliness and resident well-being were top priorities! The community was immaculately clean, creating a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. What stood out the most, however, was the level of care and engagement provided the residents. The staff members were not only attentive to the resident's physical needs but also went above and beyond to ensure their emotional and cognitive well-being. It was heartwarming to see the genuine connections between the staff and residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Overall, my experience at Brookdale Medford, left me with a profound sense of admiration and respect for the dedication and compassion of the staff, as well as the high standards of care provided to the residents. I would highly recommend this community.

I recently moved my family member into Brookdale. It was quite an ordeal to get them to agree to move even though it was definitely needed for their safety. the employees were all so helpful from start to finish during the move in process. They have settled in well and began to make friends and I never thought that would happen. It gives me such peace of mind. the employees have treated me and my family member so kind and really showed they care that they were meeting all of our needs and knew this was really hard on us. I did visit with other places and I felt like they were not as warm. Other places just didn't have the same feeling I got when I went to Brookdale. It felt more like a home vs. a hotel or institution. It was one of the cleanest places we saw.

They treat their residents with care and compassion. When I retire that would definitely be an option for me to consider. Out of the communities I have visited I feel this is the best. Good food fun activities love it.

Brookdale Medford is a great place for your loved ones. Quality care from employees who love and treat the residents like family. Supportive and communicative staff. I’m grateful to have found such a great place in our community to help with family.

I looked at 3 places and called maybe 2 others that didn't call back. Out if the 3 I visited I liked the size of Brookdale (not too big not too small) and also the room configuration. I think maybe I thought the food was better there also.

We picked this community for our loved one, because they have a contract with Medicaid. I would recommend to others. If a friend asked about my experience, I would say "not bad."

The friendliness of the staff varied from a 0 rating to a 5. Management was a 0 especially when we raised concern's about their quality of care. The meals received a 2 overall rating because the management was having to do the cooking due to the staffing shortages. All in all a VERY bad living/care experience for our loved one. It made as happy when Hospice moved our loved one out to a group home.

My father in law has lived at Brookdale Medford for 3 years. I could not say enough good things about the people that work there. I know they often stay late hours and come in on time off to make sure my family member has impeccable care. They have all been there multiple years and their team work shows it. Thank you all for what you have done. Don't let one bad review from a bad apple visitor change your mind. Also, the food is really good!!

Brookdale is a great place for seniors to live. My family looked at several places before deciding that Brookdale was the best option for my dad. We knew he would like the spacious rooms and the great view of the Rogue Valley. Also there’s a nice dining room area for everyone to get together and socialize. Most importantly though, is how friendly caring and understanding the staff is. They’re always nice to me and my family. this review is in response to the next review. Brookdale and their staff do not deserve the harsh review from my dad‘s friend [name removed]. It’s an overreaction to the restrictions that were placed on her.

This facility has the worst administrative staff I have yet to meet. They are rude, passive aggressive, and totally unprofessional. As a guest of one of their residents I was insulted, and spoken to as if I were a criminal and not a guest. They lied to my friend telling him DHS had placed stipulations on who he could leave with only to call DHS and be told they had lied to my friend and myself. He wishes his family had not ever manipulated him into to moving there. This is a sad unprofessional and dreary place mostly because their administrative staff are women who are petty, jealous, and bald faced liars. Please think twice before believing anything they tell you. Grievance forms should be availed to all residents, not at this place, they thumb there noses at Oregon Administrative Rules.

Toured this building fantastic building and staff. Building was clean and well cared for. They were great in the tour. We are about a year out on moving mom into a facility. We have definitely found her home.
