BSL community us a warm and welcoming assisted living facility in Mandeville. The staff go out of their way to make the residents and their families feel at home. The residents and their families feel at home. The resident have a variety of daily activities to keep them active, engaged and social.

We are very pleased with Brookdale for taking care of my mom.

Our parent is well cared for and seems content at Brookdale.

The staff is very caring and attentive to all our family member's needs. The facility is exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

Staff is always nice and my cousin, who is a resident, seems to be very happy!

Everyone at Brookdale does an amazing job making sure my mom is well taken care of. They have gone above and beyond helping me in all respects of my mom's care.

My mom has been here for 2 years and she feels comfortable with the staff now. The rooms are clean and if you have any issues whether it's the aides or medicines, they are willing to help reach out. Most important is the communication with them. Location is good and during Hurricane Season they are prepared early. Food is good, hot meals for them. Whenever I needed aid or help they are attentive.

The staff is extremely accommodating and warm. They provide excellent service and advice at Brookdale. We are so grateful for Brookdale and the amazing team.

The staff at Brookdale are extremely efficient. They seem to care deeply for residents. My mom is always dressed and ready to start her day! They are extremely friendly.

My mother is happy at Brookdale Mandeville and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families. A simple commercial gave us hope for our mother. A place for mom gave us so many options of choosing the perfect place for our mom. Steven had so much information and recommended several place for us to choose from. I felt as if I was a family member and not just another person calling for information. A Place For Mom was a blessing for our family.

Brookdale was perfect for my parents and they have settled in. It is always traumatic when seniors are told they are not safe and are struggling with daily activities so they must go to senior living facilities. My dad has slight dementia and my mom doesn't have good mobility. My dad was admitted to memory care but now evaluations show he just needs assisted living with my mom. They are both happy being together and Brookdale offers both, so they don't have to be moved anywhere else if their care needs change.

The staff is the absolute friendliest and extremely helpful! The medicine hand out isn't as on it as I would like in regards to giving it at the exact same time daily.

I was having a problem convincing my parents it was time for assisted living. And as it normally happens, my mother had a bad fall and had to be taken to the hospital and then on to a rehab stay. My father, who has poor vision and dementia, needed care 24/7 that we weren't able to provide. I was so grateful that the staff worked so hard with me to get him into the one respite room they had left at the time. And they were able to care for him until my mother was able to leave rehab. They worked with me and extended his stay beyond their usual respite limits due to our particular circumstances. We ended up liking Brookdale so much that we moved them in permanently. My mom is in assisted living, and any time she wants, she can ring the bell and go and see him in memory care. The fact that they can be together with two separate care types has been huge for our family. I've been very pleased. I know they're safe. My dad thinks it's wonderful. My mom struggles with wanting to be more independent, even though she's not able to. They offer a lot of activities, especially for memory care. And the cost is very reasonable. I feel so blessed that Brookdale was there when we needed them.

They have a memory care unit but offer No memory care to speak of, they fed mom and put her in front of a tv, she laid in bed most days. Was ok at first, but then an employee left that took good care of her and her care went downhill, I would not recommend this facility.

I have lived at Brookdale for the last 7 months. I find all of the employees to be friendly and easy to talk to. They go out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. This is a great place to live.

I am living in a beautiful room with a full bathroom, big closet, A/C and heat, a window to see a squirrel and birds. It is so quiet and peaceful and rooms are so clean. Love to sit and read, color, and visit. Only live 15 minutes from my baby, husband, and grandchildren.

Facility has met all my needs and concerns. My wife is in Memory Care Unit and has been cared for satisfactorily. All staff is friendly and helpful. Administrative staff has been very informative and follows up on requests.

Never been anywhere where I feel so much like home

We were looking for a Senior care facility, and a few weeks ago, we met several Senior residents in Brookdale in Mandeville. Last week, we talked to a few members of their family. From the families opinions, as told to us, so many of the senior residents are most unhappy, and getting frustrated and ignored. A comment of poor compassionate care was also reported. They were at best, very disappointed with Brookdale. The environment was reported to be non motivating, boring, and cold.The food was not that good. The residents had so little in the way of recreational activity, and very little motivation stimulus.
