Having kept in touch with [name removed] at Brookdale NW for over a year, she is amazing and very patient. Having two elderly parents who live apart is a challenge, and she continues to guide me on this journey answering every question I have asked. She and Brookdale truly cared about me and my father. I highly recommend [name removed] expertise for anyone with questions about a safe place for their loved ones.

Such a great place. Entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. Moved mom in with ease. She says food is the best. Plenty of senior activities. Being a one story building is a great perk as well. No dangerous stairs or elevator to deal with. Highly recommended.

My 81yo father was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer in early December. We needed to find a place that would allow him to be close to family but also offer the care he needed as the disease progressed. Brookdale and Amedisys hospice services worked well together to assure that dad’s level of comfort was maintained as best possible. The facility is clean, pleasant, and the residents seem to enjoy it. I only wish my father could have been able to meet some of them. Although his time there was relatively short, I felt at peace knowing he was in a safe place. On [date removed], we had to move him to a hospice house because the level of constant care had required it. He passed away peacefully in the early hours of [date removed]. My deepest appreciation to the staff of Brookdale High Point North. And also to Amedisys hospice. They were caring, tolerant, and dedicated to not only my father, but to my sister and I as we navigated this difficult road.

The community that we met and talked to were great. They all spoke very highly of the facility. We chose this facility mainly because of its location to my mom's hometown.

My sister and I recently moved our 90 yr old mother to Brookdale. The facility is bright, clean , and the staff both kind and professional! It’s never easy for a someone to move along these stages of care, particularly someone as independent as my mom. But I feel that the patience and care from staff, who often don’t have an easy job, is wonderful .

We toured Brookdale High Point North when searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. The cleanliness and friendliness were great!
My friend loves the food, and enjoys the activites. The value for the money is terrific. We picked this comminity, because of references from friends and residents who already lived there. It's a great thing for [name removed], and it's the best thing that has happened in her recent life. I would recommend to others.

I recently visited Brookdale High Point North when my brother and I were in search of a new home for our aging mother. The facility was light and bright, and very clean! The Sales Manager was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind. During our tour of the facility her care and regard for the residents was evident. Everyone I encountered seemed quite pleasant and friendly. I would recommend looking into Brookdale High Point North to anyone who wants or needs to move into an Assisted Living Community.

I moved my dad here from another facility. He needed a more active and lively environment. The activities director here is on top of things and keeps things energetic and residents interactive. It's a much better fit for dad! The staff is great. Communication with the family is good. We had a few issues in the beginning, but things are better now. The food is ok. Cleanliness is very good. This facility is a good fit for a resident who is active and wants to interact with others regularly.
One of the reason we pocked Brookdale is because it is all on one level - they also have a nice big roofed in front porch where families can come and visit. We really like the layout of the building itself, they have an indoor garden area that is right inside the facility - it is very good for entertaining when friends and family stop by. Overall the meals are good but it is hard to please everybody. They do have some really good activities going on. We gave the value overall a 4 out of 5, because we do understand they are understaffed but sometimes communication is slower and they just need more help. However there are certain staff members that really show genuine care towards our loved one and the other residents and do not hesitate to help out. We would recommend Brookdale High Point North to other families.

It has not been a good experience. Generally speaking, like with other facilities, they are short staffed. And my loved one's health has really declined since she's been with them. We are not happy at all. We've had one issue after another, and they've been major issues. They don't answer the phones. They're not checking on her, so she's not eating and drinking properly. They've been noncommunicative about her care. It has not been a a good situation.

We toured with Brookdale and the staff were all very nice and informative. The facility itself felt more like a nursing home to me and I knew my mom would not like that, I wanted her to still feel like she had some independence. It was just not the right fit for her, I think she needed some more care than they could provide.

February 11, 2022We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Your input is very important to us and we will share your feedback to help better serve our residents in the future.
They were short of staff. They also were not very attentive to the residents due to the shortage of help. The people were very friendly there just weren't enough to take care of all of the residents. My loved one also was not fond of the food and there were no adjustments made or no explanation to my loved one about what she was eating due to blindness. Which i feel all leads back to lack of help.

It is a very good fit for our loved one. Our situation is for our loved one who is elderly, can't drive, and starting to losing their memory. My loved one wishes the quantities qualities, and variety of food would be better.

My stay here was ok. I enjoyed going to bingo and being around other residents. The staff was helpful and kind. The food was disappointing I think all of it was frozen and reheated I honestly don't think anything was "homemade". The community was clean but appeared a little impersonal.
