The front desk staff is fine. The meals are unacceptable, the meal service is very unacceptable. We are providing 1 to 2 meals per day the meals and service is so bad. When first moved in things were pretty good. Since change in managers, it has gone from bad to worse. We are currently seeking alternative housing.

I would rate Brookdale Grand Court with a 4 1/2 for overall experience. My cousin has been very happy with her new community. They do a great job keeping the place clean and cleaning her room and towels/bedding once every other week. The staff is super friendly and work beyond their pay I'm sure. I'm not sure where quality of care comes in because she is responsible for her own needs, but the dining staff does their best to accommodate. Meals and dining so far have been enjoyable and tasty. Every once in a while they will have something she doesn't care for, but they have the same alternate menu available just in case. She really enjoys activities like movie night among other things. [name removed] does a magnificent job planning for all tastes in fun. The value is worth the cost. The amenities she has help her get to and from doctor appointments, Walmart, United, among other things as needed. Her apartment is just the right size and she feels at home.

The staff seem to be very attentive, the food is pretty good for the most part. Large variety of meals. The residents are especially welcoming and friendly. The wait staff are kind and helpful. There's a button in the apartment bathrooms for mom to push every morning and evening to let the office people know you are okay. They have a thing to wear around while in the building, so if you were to fall they can know exactly where you are. My mom fell in her room one evening and they got to her very quickly and helped her up. They have group outings to different stores to go shopping. They clean her room and change the sheets twice a month. For 6 dollars you can have a basket of laundry done, brought back all folded. I wish I could pay someone 6$ to do that. Several residents play card games, Dominos, and other games in the lobby after dinner. Or some just sit around and visit. There are two Sunday services upstairs. Puzzle area, library, hair salon, and laundry room so if you don't have a car, you still have everything available. I saw many different family members coming to have lunch or dinner with their parents (and they don't charge extra), which makes it more inviting for people to eat with their mom or dad. I think that's really nice. The place is clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this place for anyone's mom or dad.

Providing movers that are familiar with the facility. Just able to lend a ear to family if we needed concern with move The additional assistance they provided for mom. Most importantly the emotional support we received from the staff. Understanding the big environment change effecting moms move from house to apartment. The staff and residents so inviting to new residents . I was afraid of the dinning room because I did not want to eat by my self. My first day several resident ask me to sit at their table. The people are so kind and helpful with getting around the facility.

My parents are doing well. It's a welcoming and clean community. The staff are knowledgeable. The apartment is good and has good accessibility. It's just the right size and meets all their needs. They've enjoyed the activities they've tried so far. When it came time to move, we had make it happen really quickly, and they were really awesome to work with getting the financial part of it worked out. My parents have a dog, which has been the best stress reliever getting to keep her with them. and their dog is really happy there as well. I've been really pleased with the experience.

The staff is outstanding! The residents are kind and welcoming. I love it here!
I have lived at Brookdale for one year and am very pleased and happy to be here - the food is delicious, staff is very helpful and courteous, and take care of our needs. When my daughter had surgery she was able to stay in my room for several days. I will and would recommend Brookdale to my friends and family.
Upon entering the facility, I immediately was welcomed by the front desk. Each person I came in contact with was friendly and helpful.
