Brookdale Folsom

They are very friendly. My mom has made friends and is happy there. Yes I would I would recommend this community to other families

Personally, I think my experience (and my mom) is better than average because I go over there almost every day and spent a lot of time especially in the beginning making sure everything was done that was supposed to be done and let them know when it wasn't. I would suggest that a family member or friend get to know the staff (at least the ones in charge) and communicate any issues the resident is having. The staff I have dealt with have been very supportive and responsive. I know not everyone has someone that could be there frequently to check on things, but I know it makes a difference .

It's a great place. By far the best of the four senior living facilities that I have lived at here in Folsom and El Dorado Hills CA. What has made it such a good experience is particularly the good food quality and menu choices, the numerous activities, and the friendly staff and residents.

Wonderful staff, meal and snacks are tasty, they engage my mom in activities she enjoys. I like being able to visit my mom and see her thrive. She enjoys being with other residents, having coffee and chatting the day away.

The staff and executives are real easy to talk to and help out when needed to address my concerns. Based on the experience we have had, we would definitely recommend Brookdale Folsom to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Staff needs to be reminded of duties If a client is truly independent and need minimal assistance then I would recommend Brookdale Folsom. If assistance is needed, then no I wouldn't.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Folsom and the experience at this facility was great for her. The friendliness, staff and care services were great. The food, activities and value were also great. They do a great job. I do recommend Brookdale Folsom to others.

Her safety has been an issue. She has been attacked 2 times by 2 different resident men. The second time with injuries I probably wouldn't recommend Brookdale Folsom to others looking.

My grandmother received wonderful care at Brookdale. I never had any reservations and I felt very confident and comfortable with all of the staff I met. They became like family. The value for the money is what stood out initially. And, after a short time, we realized that we made the absolute best decision in choosing Brookdale.

At this point based upon my experience so far I give a 5 to each category with the exception of Meals/Dining and Activities The ONLY reason I'm unable to completely comment is I haven't personally had experience with the Meals/Dining ... although I will say the dining room is quite nice, clean, open and smells nice when cooking / eating is going on. I also appreciate the little bar that's always available with fruit and or herb iced water. As for Activities again my experience with Brookdale is short so I'm not completely familiar with all the activities going on or not going on / scheduled

I picked it because it was so much better than any other community in Folsom or El Dorado Hills: the food was far superior with multiple options on the menu, all of it good tasting. Residents have their own studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom apartments, kitchenettes with sink, microwave, dorm type fridge, small counter top, and overhead cabinets. Heat and A/C controls are in each room with exact settings. I have free laundry service, a lock on the door, bench and hand-held shower head, and a two hour meal window for all three meals seven days a week. And, the cost is less than I've paid at the other three places that I've lived. It's just a really great place!

Cleanliness, staff, activities, and friendliness have all been great. The food is what my mom complains about the most. (Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it isn't.) She is pretty self sufficient, so I'm not sure about the care. The cost is slightly expensive, and the cost goes up every year across the board (rent plus care services). Overall it has been a good experience.

We have been very pleased with Brookdale Folsom. The experience is great! They make a good effort to include everyone in activities. But you always have choices. I would absolutely recommend to other families.

I think overall, this facility exceeded our expectations. The staff are very very nice to work with, very friendly and accommodating. The majority of the care givers are fantastic, all are very caring and respectful. The office team is also very very easy to work with and accessible. The meals are fantastic with several options to choose from. I would 100% recommend this facility to family and friends.

Every staff member at Brookdale who I have met and spoken with has been caring and kind. I feel confident that my grandmother is in great hands at Brookdale. We would absolutely recommend Brookdale Folsom to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
