Brookdale Dr. Phillips (MC)

Brookdale Dr Phillips Memory Care took excellent care of my mother during her time as a resident. The attendants were very attentive to we needs and very supportive of my family. Additionally, the team was great and the community was well cared for. Brookdale Dr Phillips provided quality care and excellent service to my parents and my family.

Toured here and loved the facility for my mother in law. Unfortunately couldn’t move in due to out of state family reasons but from what I saw everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful! The nurse [name removed]was out and active with the residents and everyone seemed so happy! I will definitely keep brookdale dr Phillips in mind and recommend to friends in the area!

My Mom moved from Brookdale Dr. Phillips Assisted Living (AL) to the Memory Care unit (MC) across the parking lot in January 2023, a few months ago, after living almost 3 years in Assisted Living. It was an easy move. The physical move itself of my Mom's belongings and furniture was done by the staff there. My wife and I helped, but they did the heavy lifting. It was the right move at the right time, but we were hesitant at first. Although our experience with the AL side was great, our experience with the MC unit has been equally great. We cannot say enough about good things about the Executive Director, Office Manager, Nursing, nurses, CNA's, activity coordinators, receptionists, everyone. They all do what is necessary to get the job done. They all chip in. There is a family feeling to the place. I highly recommend Brookdale Dr. Phillips Memory Care to anyone looking for a great place for Mom, Dad, or any other loved one! They do a great job!!!

My grandmother was at Brookdale Dr. Phillips for several years. She was treated so well by the staff at Brookdale and loved to tell me about all the fun activities that she would participate in. Whenever I would visit, I got to interact with the staff and they were all very helpful in answering my questions. They really seemed to care about my grandmother. I highly recommend Brookdale for your loved ones, they will be in good hands.

Staff is always friendly, professional and engaging with all the residents. Residents are encouraged to participate with activities throughout the day. I’ve seen residents enjoy baking, gardening or walking the courtyard.

I found the staff to be friendly and engaging with the residents. The open floor plan was nice with the indoor atrium giving so much natural light. It had a home atmosphere very inviting. Everyone seemed happy and well cared for at this community.

My mom has Parkinson’s Disease, which comes with dementia as it progresses. She had been living at Brookdale Dr. Phillips Assisted Living for one year. When her dementia got worse, we moved her to Brookdale Dr. Phillips Memory Care facility, which is on the same property. The price was surprisingly good. The Memory Care building layout is well thought out so the staff can see everyone in the main living space. Residents have private rooms. There is snack time everyday, which the residents seem to enjoy. The staff is well trained and wonderful. They make an effort to engage with the residents in a cheerful and supportive manner. As the residents are at different stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia, the staff caters to the level of their needs. The nurses call me when my mom has any kind of medical issue. My mom is very content here, and I know she is well taken care of, which puts my mind at ease.

Very compassionate people working at Brookdale. Always pleased everyone took such good care of my Mom while she was living there. They would try to get her involved with things she loved such as music . The food was excellent every day. The staff there knew my name and who I was coming to visit. Appreciated that.

I searched long and hard to find a place for My spouse and I found Brookdale Brookdale took great care of my wife. She was treated like family and so was I highly recommend Brookdale if you have a loved one that needs a great Caring environment.

My experience has been great from day one. Everyone there are very caring and knowledgeable. I have a family member there for over two years and we are every Happy with the level of care they give her. I would recommend Brookdale Senior Living to my friends and family.

My loved one is a resident at this facility. She lasted one month in their Assisted Living community before going to their Memory Care unit, but they have been excellent and worked with me every step of the way. This is a smaller, less glamorous community. But one with tremendous oversight and knowledge of each resident. Overall care and family communication is excellent.

We did not have the best experience. I would encourage others to work with the staff as best you can. Even then, sometimes it's just not going to work out. The place looks better than other places that we looked at. I think we just had a tough scenario. So do your due diligence. Their initial observations were good. We just had some challenges arise that didn't go well, and the staff weren't able to handle them, despite their assurances that they could. I feel like the sales pitch was one thing, and their services didn't really add up.
