Brookdale Creve Coeur

I have a relative in this the independent living and visit quite often. Everyone is very friendly from the moment you walk in and the building is very well-kept. My aunt participates in a variety of activities and especially enjoys the happy hour. She is very happy here and I would highly recommend to anyone looking.

My father was placed at Brookdale and the services far exceeded our expectations. I recently had to make a decision to place my father in law in an assisted living and wouldn’t consider moving him to any other facility, as Brookdale is our 1st choice.

They do not do at all what they say that they are going to do. My loved one was here and I visited everyday and each time I had to go find someone and tell them to do what they had told me they would do on the day we signed up with them. They did not check on him, they rolled their eyes when I asked for them to bathe him. The only nice person was the activities director - she was great. Other than that the other staff would just sit in their chairs and they did not wear masks either. We ended up hiring hospice just so he could get the care he needed that Brookdale was not providing. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend them to others looking.

My loved one has lives here for 2 years now and truly loves it! She even had a short stay in a different community and is much happier at Brookdale Creve Coeur. They have a great variety of activities, she is always busy! The staff are always friendly when we comes to visit! Highly recommend for anyone looking into senior living!

The place is pretty, the staff is nice. It is certainly financially attractive. It is about half the cost of a couple other places. It is competitive in cost with many that are doing the same. Many other places are double.

We chose Brookdale Creve Couer because we visited and I knew someone whose parent lived here so I had a referral. Also the sales rep is very friendly and thorough and you can approach her for pretty much anything. They are currently short help in the dining room and it takes a long time for them to get food and then it is cold when served. They do really care about the safety and security of their residents, during covid they have been very cautious. If there are any issues the administrative staff are very responsive. I would recommend them to others looking. .

The community has lots of activities and music several times a week. They have a pool and a card room also. The staff is amazing, friendly, and is very helpful and I would recommend this community to others.

I know this company and their model from touring in Ohio. I anticipate this place may be too big, a little too luxurious a facade, and probably too costly for our needs (unless all care is included in their pricing). We can inquire but that’s my initial reaction

This environment is exactly what my Dad needed. After retirement he was so bored at home. He now has friends to socialize with. The food is great! Mom is so much happier not having to cook. Lots of activities scheduled every day.

Brookdale Senior Living in Creve Coeur is a wonderful, caring community and I couldn’t be happier that Mom now calls this place home! All the staff members are so kind and call Mom by name. The entire building is clean and well-kept. And the food in the dining room is outstanding! Her apartment is well-appointed and very homey. Although it has taken Mom several weeks to get completely acclimated to her new environment (after living in the same home for 51 years), she is very happy with her apartment, the staff and the good food. I highly recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for independent or assisted living for their loved one (Mom OR Dad)!

My godmother stayed at Brookdale for over 2 years. It is really geared towards independent living. You can pay for some extra help by the hour to help you get dressed in the morning or something like that. She eventually had to move to a place that could handle her increasing dementia. She just couldn't add enough services to keep her there and it was better for her to move to a memory care facility. She couldn't remember to come down to dinner and couldn't order her meals off the menu. Brookdale is a large facility with lots going on. They usually had entertainment every night. It is a facility for people that want a little bit of elegance and are willing to pay for it. If you visit make sure you stop at the front desk and talk with [name removed] (No, not THAT [name removed]) He has been there forever and can tell you everything about the place.

My mom moved in about 3 months ago. She is happy there, enjoys the meals and social activities. She has been able to find residents to play Pinochle, which was not among the already planned activities. The staff has been friendly and helpful. It such a relief to have found a good place for my precious mom. The residents are friendly and active.

Beautiful building, grounds and amenities. Most units are for Independent Living, Assisted Living is on lower level. Would recommend for someone focused on Independent Living. We need Assisted Living and are unlikely to graduate back to Independent. Otherwise, this would have been top on our list.

This facility is gorgeous and has everything a resident there could ever want or need. The apartments are updated and well appointed. I would highly recommend Brookdale!
