The Sales Manager has been so helpful from the very beginning. We have had so many questions and she has been so honest and patient. She definitely makes the lifestyle transition so easy and peaceful.

From the tour, evaluation and transition into Brookdale, everyone was professional and patient. My mother’s accommodations were clean and updated. We liked the tiered, ala carte services. Although every day comes with new challenges and emotions, the staff supports the residents to the best of their abilities.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Colonial Park and most everything has been great for him at this facility so far. The cleanliness is great, however I was very disappointed in the condition of his bathroom. There was urine on the toilet and the sink and room were dirty. Also, one suggestion for improvement: they need to inform new residents of all of the activities. We had to find out many things on our own. We never got an orientation for the facility and didn't know about the hair salon or all of the great activities provided.

I have been here 10 months. Love my apt. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Always something to do. Nurse station is open if needed. Craft room. Library. I love being around people. It is like familly.

Overall Brookdale Colonial Park has been a great place for our Dad. The staff is great. Dad doesn't love the food program but not enough to sour him on all of the positives at Brookdale. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

Brookdale Colonial Park was great. [Name removed] was great and everyone so helpful.. only improvement would be better response time from maintenance department. The staff response was great except the maintenance department could do better in responding. Meals were wonderful with options unless you got to the dining room later and they were out of certain items. There are three meals a day were offered

Brookdale Colonial Park we really liked but it's out of our budget. Colonial Park seems to have tenured staff and the residents I spoke with were very happy there.
It's been a good experience for my loved one and family. They are doing a good job in cleaning my loved one's room. They are able to provide the medication management, bathing assistance, and laundry services for my loved one. The menus served to the residents is repetitive according to my loved one, and it would be nice to see more variety offered. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in. The activities directors have been wonderful in trying to engage the residents in the activities.

I toured this facility. Initially, they came to speak with us when our loved one was still in rehab. She had a neck brace on and they knew it would be needed for a little while and said it was ok. When she was able, we toured the facility. On the tour, they mentioned the neck brace and said it didn't meet criteria and they couldn't accept her. It was just frustrating.

I thought the community was very nice during the tour. The location was further for family to visit than we wanted.
After losing her husband, my Mom decided to leave TN and move back home to FL. Our family found Colonial Park Brookdale and decided it would be a good fit. The staff were very helpful with the whole process. My Mom has been there for about 3 months and the family is so happy to have her in FL in a safe and caring environment.

They've lost staff within the last couple of months. The executive director has apparently been having to cook meals. Their meals have gone from a menu format where the residents had choices, to now you get one thing and that's it, with no choices. They've lost their sales director and accounting person. I'm not sure what's going on, but it concerns me that numerous people have left. Also, there have been many complaints about the food, even before the recent staffing issues. The care has been pretty good though overall. When you're taking the tour, I feel like everybody is on their best behavior. But since my family has member moved in, I've noticed that the executive director doesn't really speak to the residents. If he walks by them, he kind of ignores them and doesn't say hello. And that is not what I experienced on the tour.
