Our person has blossomed since being there. The socialization and the caring staff make a huge difference. We are very happy with the services. Don't get me wrong, there is always a hiccup here or there. But overall it is a very good place. Our person there is the youngest in the place.

My sister loves it there and is living her best life. The entire building is kept very clean. The staff are all friendly and are like family and go out if their way to accommodate everyone. All are cared for like family. Meals are good and friendly atmosphere. Lots of activities and events. The value of cost is good. Thank you to Brookdale, a job well done !

The staff at Brookdale Adrian are very friendly and caring. My parents both feel like they are being well cared for and treated with respect. There is not much communication with the family, but neither of my parents have experienced many trials while there other than experiencing bouts with Covid. I would recommend this facility to others in need of care.

Overall a good experience. When my Dad needed to have hospice care they worked with Lenawee Hospice so we didn't have to move him from Brookdale. Everything from the lobby, dining room and apartment was very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Nancy at the front desk, Samantha Miller who helped us set everything up for the move, and Executive Director Chris who went out of his way to help in so many ways.

Other than the fact that it was virtually unaffordable, Most of the caregivers were nice people, and fairly well trained, some of the training should have been given to office personnel. Communication was the weakest link. Also, Medicare does none of this. That should be considered for residents the same way they charge for care, your price goes by what care level the resident is. Should not be defined as assisted living when they are 100% care level.

Response from Brookdale Adrian
March 12, 2024Here at Brookdale Adrian, we believe in transparency from the beginning conversation, every resident and or responsible party is aware that we do not accept Medicare and are well aware of what our pricing is before signing the residency agreement. By signing the agreement one is agreeing to all the terms, price included. Our Exhibit Z which is included in the agreement shows all the care with pricing that we are able to offer as a licensed Assisted Living. If you would like to contact the Executive Director at 517-263-8199, I would love to sit down and discuss these issues. Thanks, Chris Lender, Executive Director.
The head RN is not very nice. Some staff don't seem to want to be here. Having trouble with staff answering my dad's beeper and helping him. But there are really nice staff working here.

I knew this was home right away. Anything you need they help you with - management, maintenance, and all of the staff are incredible. I don't eat the meals as I prefer to do my own cooking. You won't find a better place than our community.

March 12, 2024We love you being here too! No greater feeling than being surrounded by family. Please let us know how we can serve you - it's an honor to do so!
This is a great community that has definitely met my needs. I tend to keep to myself more and I'm allowed to do that without question. There's plenty of room to keep active and engage as you'd like. I'd recommend this community.

A Place for Mom has scored Brookdale Adrian 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
