Briarwood Assisted Living and Memory Care

This is the first senior care facility we have needed to select and have been extremely pleased in the short time of moving our loved in. It provides the normal care but what separates Briarwoood out from the rest is the personal care for each resident from the maintenance, food staff, doctor, nurses, physical therapists as well as the administration staff. Each person knows the residents by their first name and makes them feel special. There is a lot of knocks on resident doors by staff for a friendly hello with a smiling face throughout the day as well as genuine words of encouragement as the residents take part in the many structure facility activities. It is a very positive atmosphere and it is clear the staff members are compassionate, hard working, individuals that enjoy working for the facility and making a difference in the life of others.

I love the home like environment. Staff is very friendly. I know shes safe, well fed. I'm really comfortable with the place.

I like the place. Everyone is friendly. I think they need more activities for the memory care community to occupy them more. Otherwise, it's a good place for her.I felt my mom would be comfortable at Briarwood. And it's not to far to travel to see her.

My wife had been in another facility in another town. She wouldn't socialize and just stayed in her room. My daughter and I toured Briarwood and were immediately impressed with the staff and the facility. She now is out and about, socializing eating with the other residents and just seems happy. Our family is happy that she's happy.

Briarwood was a lot better. Mom looked better than she had in years while at Briarwood .They really did a nice job keeping the room clean. Mom was hit with Dementia very hard the last 6-8 weeks of her life and she was miserable. They did what they could to help her. I think all assisted living facilities are way over priced.

They are so welcoming. Everyone was willing to talk to you and encourage you. They have activities that encourage the people living there to interact with each other. Peaceful and and caring atmosphere.

Overall, the food is pretty decent, and my loved had no complaints. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The administration was great to work with. Overall. I am very pleased.

It is wonderful to see my sister 'thrive' at Briarwood. She loves the staff and so do I. They have really made a difference in her stay there! She has made her place a permanent home there. Thank you all!

I was amazed with the apartments and how homelike they are. Staff were super friendly, food smelled great, loved the décor and how I would love to live here myself.

Warm and wonderful facility and staff.

The community building is warm and welcoming and staff are caring and considerate toward the residents and their families. The staff are loyal to their residents and expects the best care for them.

Has been very helpful and caring and will do anything for me most of them (80%) of them are very kind with me and always want to help. Director is always caring and helpful.

Everyone here is so helpful. Very sweet girls. I enjoy everyone here. My mother seems very content

Facility is clean and well cared for. Staff/employees seem friendly and welcoming. Residents seem to enjoy the facility and staff. Pleasant place to visit!
