Bebe's Cottage

My father-in-law was here for two years or so after being in a large assisted-living. During these two years we experienced a feeling of family with the caregivers and [name removed] the owner. They were very dedicated to the people who lived there. Meals are homemade, The room is tidied while they are out and the home is very clean. Safety is insured for the residence both inside and with security against intruders. It is a modest home but because it is small, people actually befriend each other here. They care! My father-in-law never took advantage of social opportunities but there were many efforts to engage him. Our past experience of the larger and newer Assisted Living with All the bells and whistles is that They hire and fire at will, they are very disorganized in everybody’s care because nobody is really responsible. They spend more time checking off boxes to make sure that they’ve checked off the boxes then they do actually talking to, smiling at and caring for the residents. There was also a fair amount of theft at Brookdale especially. When I say Bebe’s Cottage was awesome, I love the care they took of my father in law. I hope that when I grow old I will find a place as loving as Bebe’s Cottage with someone as meticulous as [name removed] at the helm and as sweet and dedicated as [name removed].

$2300/ mo. Clean, residents seemed alert. Her own room - bath across the hall.

Updated home with curb appeal. room not on main. could eat by herself at table; top of room open due to fire code. Resident on that floor cries out at times. May be disturbing.
