Barnett Woods

The food is awful. The sales person we worked with which was a driving force for us to move my mom in left shortly after she moved in. I feel that there is an issue with the overall management. They are handling things well with the virus,except they do let my mom come and go and just take her temperature when she comes back.

I have only lived in this senior community since last April, so I haven't totally been through all seasons yet. People are friendly and helpful, and I do enjoy this area very much. I like the feeling of open areas, and the meadows around us.

We are all one big family, good food, lots of activities and entertainment

I really like living here. The staff are all great. There are many different things to do. The food is really good. I recommend living here to seniors looking for an independent place to live.

Treats you like family. Excellent food, great selection of activities and services (Wii games, cards, work outs, parties, scenic drives, bus service).

I highly recommend Barnett Woods. The people here are so kind. The people who work here are great, and very kind.

Overall a beautiful fine place. Folks here are very helpful and extremely nice - help you willingly. Luckily to have fine manager and workers here. Wish I knew about this organization a long time ago.

I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and the over look of the whole facility. It is neat and clean and the guest rooms are adequate size.

A bit small for our needs. Our dad currently lives in a new facility in his current community so we're looking for a comparable property.

I toured Barnett Woods while looking at living options for my mother. but I really wouldn’t recommend it. The facility is older, and I found it to be a bit run down and out dated. I also felt that the person giving us the tour wasn’t very prepared, helpful, or attentive. It was the sort of thing where they take you around quickly, give you some brochures, and get you out. We chose another community for my mother.

The people were nice and the facility was clean but outdated. I found the one bedroom apartments to be small and somewhat depressing because they were so outdated and bland.

Why must a person beg and beg to have a bus take them to doctor appointments, Should they leave in order to get better service? You also state that there are activities but these are conducted only in your building. For many months there have been no out side activities as to sight seeing, bus rides around the area or going to other places other than to the store. Other senior retirement places offer so much more. Please look into this matter.

This is the nicest retirement home in Medford. It's clean and has great food and the staff is amazing. They go way over the top to make you feel welcome and at home. I would recommend Barnette Woods to any family wanting to retire to the Medford area. There is always a great event to enjoy here. The care staff treat their residents like family, kind and loving.

My brother is doing well at Barnett Woods. He is very pleased with his room and his access to things. It has been an all around good experience. I think it is best he can get for what he needs. I talk to him every day and would know if there was anything he didn't like. He is very satisfied with this facility.

We do plan on moving into this facility. Tomorrow, as a matter of fact. The staff here is always friendly and they have answered all of our questions and made us feel that this is the place for us. The facility is very nice.

The staff has gone above and beyond at Barnett Woods to get my mom into this facility. They definitely care about and go out of their way to accommodate the residents-I have never had anyone NOT acknowledge me and the family oriented attitude shows. The food there is really good; fresh and a varied selection. The activities director is fabulous and there is a good range of activities considering the ages of the residents. Residents can participate on out of town trips or stay closer to home. Overall, I think it is an excellent value compared to other places that we have looked into.

Absolutely beautiful community. The love and feeling of total support is amazing. Our favorite thing about Barnett wood was that it feels like a real home and not a glitzy hotel for seniors. Clean, loving staff, lots of activity going on and total engagement of all staff members. My mom wasn't scared about moving out of her home for her whole life when she experience this place.

The staff is very friendly. Its comfortable and very clean. The residents were open and happy as we were there and also welcoming. We didn't see anyone there who was distressed. It felt really good when we were there. All the things we needed were provided there. I give this place 5 stars.

Any concerns that have come up, have been addressed promptly. Tony the director has been very responsive. And their chef has been more than accommodating. I would rate them pretty highly so far.

They are really nice and think about the patients, and take really good care of them. It is very nice and clean, a very warm and welcoming environment. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that my mom is happy and safe where she is at.
