I know nothing about Avalon Care Home at 2630 Orchard St.ai Fairfield, CA. as my wife is a resident of Avalon Care Home at 5082 Rasmussen Fairfield, CA. The main problem that I have with this facility is that is almost like solitary confinement for my wife as there is nothing to do or anyone to talk to most of the time. There is 4 other residents which 3 of them are completely incapable of talking or interacting in any way. The other lady there and my wife do not seem too get along for some reason and she stays in her own room most of the time. This makes for a pretty lonely existence for my wife. I bought a TV for her and go to see her quite often and take her out for lunch about once a week. I spend as much time with her as I can. My wife really likes the owner lady " as I do also" and she takes her out occasionally and also does her finger nails. A very nice lady. I guess what I am trying to is say is that there needs to have more activities at this home.
