Bright Minds Residential Care

I would give the care and staff higher than a 5 if we could. He loves the food that they serve. It is expensive but absolutely worth it for the quality of care he receives. They drive him miles and miles to go to appointments and go above and beyond what they have to do. They are very nice people and take very good care of him. I would highly recommend Bright Minds to others.

It is a good place for your loved one. The staff, the location, the cleanliness, and more all make this a great place. The staff are caring, kind, and patient with the residents. There are no activities for the residents here.

This was my first visit to a care home and the only issue that I had with this place was that there were no rooms available. Arnel is the gold standard when it comes to facility managers. He is warm gracious and attentive. His mother who also works there is a gem she offered me a muffin and soda which made me feel right at home. The rooms were clean well maintained and comfortable. Centrally located in Fairfield this is a place that I would feel completely at ease if my mother could be placed there

They are very good. They are polite and considerate. They ask questions, which I like. It's a very nice place. All of the staff has been great. The communication with the staff has been very good. The food is good as well. I am very satisfied with everything and all of the services. I would definitely recommend the Bright Minds Residential Care. My overall rating of this facility is five stars. I am very pleased.

The facility was refreshing, clean, and bright. The residents that I saw looked happy and upbeat. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Beautiful home and friendly staff!! I toured this facility to find a place for my mom. The owner and staff are very nice and knowledgeable.They are very accomodating. They offered me some foods and drinks. I met the residents and they are all very happy living there. The house is very clean. The interiors looks so fabulous. I love the atmosphere. The Staff are very cheerful and always smiling. This home is on top of my list!!

My dad lived in 2 places before we found Bright Minds. We are all so happy now. The home is beautiful. The staff could not be kinder or more professional. They treat my dad like family. He is very happy there and has really flourished both mentally and physically. We really like that the owner lives and works there along with his mom. Our family is so grateful for Bright Minds!

Very beautiful and clean home. Lovely outside areas. Arnel was amazing and his staff were friendly. The residents all seemed very happy and spoke well of Arnel and his staff. It was much better than I thought it might be and will definitely consider this home.

It’s a zero! It’s clean though. The administrator was a zero ! That’s why I left! He kept trying to sell me things and I didn’t think he was trust worthy at all. I was very dissatisfied with both their care services and activities. They didn’t offer any activities. The staff could have been more friendly than they were.

I was very pleased with the care, the staff and the way my mother was being taken care of. The reason I am giving this review is because my mother who is 85 years old and suffers with Dementia, depression, and high blood pressure was put out of the facility because of situations that arose with my mother's youngest daughter. I being the oldest daughter had a power of attorney but Arnel wanted more, a restraining order to keep my sister from taking my mother from the facility. To make a long story short, Arnel reworded the document he had me sign and I had to take my mother out of a place she loved. After going to court and getting the proper papers, Arnel then told me that there was no room. After speaking with numerous administrators, and nurses I was told, it seems that he did not want my mother in his facility. (We are African American's) All Arnel had to do was to work with me and the Legal services on the situation but he was not willing to do that. My mother was very sadden, cried, and missed the friends she had made at Bright Minds, so after a month when I called Arnel back to see if there was any rooms available, I was told everything was rented out. Everyone I talked to told me that Arnel should have taken the Power of Attorney as my being over my mother, and whatever the rules that were given by me concerning my sister, should have been enough. But it was not, he said he needed a restraining order, a Power of Attorney would not work. So the way my mother was done I cannot give a good rating.

I visited Bright Minds Residential Care home today. This home is about 3 miles from our home and is near the Church we attend. I met with 2 of the staff members but did not speak to the director/licensee (Arnel Silverio). Arnel will be back tomorrow and I will speak with him. The staff members are Filipino and are very friendly and nice people. Home is certified for memory care. Overall I would rate this care home very good to excellent. The residents were well taken care. I spoke to one gentlemen for over 40 minutes and he was happy to be living there. I met 2/3 of the residents and they were well kept and active. I visited during lunch and the meals looked appetizing (meatoaf, green salad and Mac and Cheese). I have inserted below a picture of the outside of the home along with a picture of the weekly menu and the activities schedule. There are also several pictures on their facebook page. Clean as a whistle: Very clean and tidy. Modern interior. Follow your nose: No odors. Very pleasant atmosphere. Ask to watch activities: Visited during lunch. One resident was just finishing lunch. Others were in the family room reading and listening to music. The daily activities schedule is inserted below. Activities are scheduled throughout the day. Celebrate Christian holidays which would make Mom comfortable. Staff attitude and friendliness: Staff was very friendly and seemed to have a good attitude. I felt very welcome and comfortable. I could have stayed the rest of the day and spoke with Don (resident) and felt the staff would have welcomed that. Nutrition and fitness: The lunch looked good and nutritious. I liked the idea that they posted the menu and activity schedule in the main hallway by the front door. They is exercise scheduled daily in the morning. Safe and sound: Security systems were installed to reduce walk away risks. Checked the systems while I was there and they were in proper working condition. All exterior doors had decorative security doors. Personal care: All residents looked to have good personal care and grooming. Hair cuts, nails clipped, clean shaven, clean clothes, etc. Well done. Moving Out: Not discussed Trust your instincts: Bottom line, I would have stayed for dinner and slept there. Very comfortable.

I love this place! The staff are all very sweet and the food is excellent! It's always fresh and my loved one loves it! They have gone above and beyong my expectations! It's really nice and clean, and almost like brand new! There's a family like atmosphere here and the mix of people brings a cheerful and positive energy to the environment!

The owner was very accomidating and let me go there and setup days before my mom moved in. They are very friendly and keep me informed.
