This facility is recently under new ownership and management. When it was [removed] it was great place. My loved one was happy. Once it became Aurora Gardens everything changed. Care, food, accommodations were all reduced to put more money in their pockets and still charged an exorbitant amount to stay there. Items are never repaired. When I would visit the air conditioning would be broken for days at a time leaving all the residents stay in 81 degree temperatures. My loved one complained daily and weekly until their unfortunate passing. I truly believe my loved ones mental and physical decline was brought on in a big way due the treatment at this facility. Do not send your loved one to this facility.

I had a tour set up for me and I met with a different person. The staff didn't seemed involved, like when I asked them basic questions, they could not answer. It seemed like they were not as trained. The community was very, very plain. Nothing was on the walls and the people seemed like they had nothing to do. There was an outside area that looked caged in and nothing was nice about going outside. There is no privacy, my dad would have had to share a small room. The community was not appropriate for his needs.

A Place for Mom has scored Aurora Gardens 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
