Atria is a great facility but the highlights of the day for the elderly is eating. Since my Mom got there they have changed chefs and she struggles to even find a meal she wants, ending up with a salad and a roll to hard to bite. Her favorite thing to do was cooking but she doesn’t have enough room in her one bedroom with kitchenette to do so. She loves the kind people and all of the help cleaning and such but her nourishment is lacking and she is bery frustrated about it on a daily basis.

Making this decision was the most difficult thing I've ever done, but it was necessary. Atria made the process as easy as possible, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable. well-cared for, happy, and SAFE!

The staff are really kind and caring with my dad. My dad likes the food and the choices. Facilities are kept very clean. We’re as the staff have been very welcoming the residents are not so much. Part of this may be my dad has not been reaching out in joining activities yet. We are happy with our choice overall.

Our experience with Atria has been remarkable. My mother has enjoyed musical events and games; gone on day trips; and has had old friends and family over. She has met truly lovely people and is enjoying seeing her new friends. Everyone who works at Atria has been friendly, caring, and helpful in one word, stellar. My mother has even enjoyed going downstairs to just sit by the fireplace and relax. My brother, sister-in-law, and myself have had tears in our eyes whenever she has actually gone out and done something other than sitting in her apartment. Atria has been a most amazing gift to my mother, and to our family. Atria has given our mother autonomy and her family joy and relief that she is engaged with life and safe. From the bottom of hearts, thank you Atria.

I thought Atria was a nice place. While it was a nice place I think the way they take your money isn't right. Signed rental agreement on [name removed] because we would miss the special. Never spent a night there. Due to difficult conditions with health we never ever really moved in. Gave them a letter [date removed] cancelling the contract. In total the took $[removed] of our money with no deposit return. I will never recommend your company or Atria to anyone. $[removed] from seniors with health issues, and on fixed income.

December 22, 2023Timothy, we value your feedback. I’ve shared your review with the Executive Director, and she would be happy to speak with you directly about your brief experience with our community. You can contact her directly, or email me at CustomerService@AtriaSeniorLiving.com and I’ll put her in touch.
Our family had an in person tour with Atria Crossroads Place and the community itself was very beautiful and the staff members were very welcoming and friendly but they were not equipped to handled our loved ones catheter so it was not going to be the right fit for our family.
My loved one has adjusted quite well to her new surroundings since moving in. It's the best known senior living facility in the area. We picked this community becasue, the overall value for monetary cost was better than others in my view. I would recommend to others.

I helped a friend move her mother into Atria. I have never been there before and was so impressed! The stairway at the entrance was beautifully decorated like something out of a movie. The employees were very helpful and residents very welcoming. Now I know why my friends Mom chose to live there!

Although we are just starting our research for my Mom, this place is currently our top pick. The environment is very warm and welcoming and all the residents seemed very happy to be living there. We saw an entertainer while we were there and the staff we met all greeted us and seemed attentive to the residents they were with.

The staff at Atria has been wonderful. They were extremely helpful with getting my mother moved in and settled. They've been patient and understanding of what she was going through in having to make this transition. They're feeding her well, cleaning her room, and taking good care of her. And she's really enjoying the activities.

What we really like about Atria Crossroads Place is the size of the community and just the feeling you get right when you walk in - it is very inviting and just has that homey feeling to it. Right now the activities are just okay, but they just hired on a new activities director so hopefully they get better. Based on the experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

The staff members at Atria Crossroads are very friendly but unfortunately there is just not enough of them and so we have a concern that what we are expecting and paying for are just not being met due to the staffing shortage.

I brought my parents in to see Atria. They were concerned I wanted to put them in Nursing Home. They were overwhelmed by the friendly staff! They even asked us to join in on the Family Feud game they were playing! My parents (and I) were so impressed!

I had a tour with my mother that [name removed] was more than pleasant with us. She gave us all the information we wanted and gave us a wonderful tour of such a remarkable community. During our tour [name removed] introduced us to I believe the Maintenance Director [name removed], in which he was very friendly and had some nice advice for my mother on why to move to Crossroads Place. I just want to say thank you to the staff and [name remoed]. Thank You.

A Place for Mom has scored Atria Crossroads Place 8.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
