Arden Courts A ProMedica Memory Care Community in Sarasota

My son-in-law works at Arden Courts of Sarasota. I have toured the community and must say it is cozy, warm and inviting. I told him that if a community is ever needed to provide care for me, I would not mind living at Arden Courts. It just felt right.

My father was at this Arden Courts for about 4 months. I am so glad we had him here. The caring was so deep that I will always be grateful. My father can be a difficult guy. He had been baker acted many times and previously kicked out of another memory care. [name removed] told us in the intake, "We [this Arden Courts] specializes in difficult cases. We gave him one. They delivered on their claim. There is an inherent uncertainty when making this type of decision. What I can tell you in retrospect is that I am very grateful for the Staff, from the highest admin to the caregivers, of Arden Courts. I spent many hours at AC. The level of caring was sincere, positive, and encouraging... for every resident that we saw. It's a hard decision in a difficult situation. If I were to have need of a memory care, I would want to be here. Special thanks to [name removed] for his guidance, availability, and sincere understanding. I visit a family member as often as I can. We always sit outside in the gazebo. I am very pleased with the level of care he receives. You feel like part of a larger family. The staff is always kind and attentive. He is happy and well cared for.

I was at Arden Courts with my good friend. His mother is a resident there. I found the community to be very inviting. The building is older, but it is kept up nicely. The staff seemed very friendly. I would have no problem placing my mother there in time of need. Something about the place just seems right.

As an elder law attorney, I have referred many families to this community over the years and all have reported a very positive experience with the caregivers and quality of life provided to their loved ones. Led by a compassionate executive team, the staff members truly treat residents like family and the result is a safe, nurturing environment for those suffering with cognitive deficits.

Severely under staffed.

Probably as good as any other place. The ED has been very helpful when needed. My loved one does not participate in activities.

This facility is great. They check on the residents every hour. The food seems ok. I love that the chef in charge of the kitchen has been there for 15+ years. I've seen her often walking around with freshly baked cookies or other treats for the residents. The activities directors are both wonderful. The program is very structured and I think they do a great job. Housekeeping is good, things are always clean and put away. I'm very impressed with the facility director, the tour guide, and the maintenance director. All 3 of them really have it together. When I'm visiting, they often reach out and ask how things are going. They really have their eyes on what's going on. I've seen them there even on holidays, weekends, and after hours. It just feels very genuine here. I'm happy and mom is happy. The only issue I would mention is that they seem to sometimes be understaffed, but I know that's everywhere right now. I did have an issue with a couple of people from outside agencies that they brought in to help with care, but nothing major. I have recommended this facility to others and will in the future. Of all of the places that I've talked to and seen, I would highly recommend them the most.

I am really grateful that my sister is at Arden Courts of Sarasota - they have been wonderful all the way around with the quality of care. I highly recommend the facility to others.

They only deal with Alzheimer's and dementia residents. The care was wonderful and I was very happy with the experience.

We toured Arden Courts on [date removed]. I was very impressed with the thoughtful design and planning behind the facility and its programs. I loved the outdoor space and the ability for residents to access it freely. [name removed] was very thorough and provided us with a lot of information. The interior seems well though out and provides residents with opportunities for movement and a comfortable homelike environment.

I would recommend them. I already have told several people about this community. The community is comfortable, and it was perfect for my loved one. The residents have the ability to go out to the courtyard 24 hours a day. The administrator would go out and play tennis with the residents. They even had a putting green available for the resident to use.

My mother-in-law was a resident at Arden Courts in Sarasota for several years, until she died at age 97. I can't say enough about the care they provided. Her dementia made her very difficult to deal with, but they knew how to keep her happy and occupied. A lot of the staff have been there for a long time and it's apparent that they love the residents.

My husbands loves this community and how he is taken care of by the excellent staff. They offer great meals and a good variety. Alot of activities to participate in to keep active. We would like to recommend to others who want exceptional care.

This is a great community for my father. He seems to like the outdoors alot. The staff is excellent and the care he is given. A very clean enviroment with nice surroundings. He is happy with the meals they offer him. I would recommend this for others. they offer him activities to enjoy when he likes to participate in.

My mother was only there about a month before she had a bad fall and had to go to the hospital. While she was there, I was very pleased with them. I liked the set up, and the way they had the little houses set up. As far as her care there, it was fine. I don't think that her falls had anything to do with her care.
