My comments are probably nitpicking, but I feel like it would be helpful if the staff wore name tags. Also, my family would like better communication between us and the staff. I would say communication from the staff is poor and probably the biggest frustration we have with them. An activity calendar for the memory care ( not the whole facility ) emailed to us would be extremely helpful. It's frustrating when we go to visit, and they're in the middle of an activity that we know nothing about. Especially frustrating for my father's wife who pays for transportation to visit him for an hour every week. Sometimes half her time spent there is wasted. We would like to know about the schedule for the podiatrist, showers, meal times, etc.... Read more

This place sucks. They should have their license revoked and staff jailed. Nursing staff can't speak English. I would never recommend this place.

The Arbor Village community does not have air conditioning. It was very hot in in the respite room. Over 90 when we visited. If your loved one is not verbal, I would not recommend.

Friendly staff overall and the new activities director is great! Food is good and varied. As is everywhere, staff is asked to do more for less and there is not always enough staff. I know this is not specific to A.V though.

I would say that they are friendly and I have never experienced anything negative with the community. They all seem to know my mom and always greet her when they see her in the halls.

I was given false information by the person that was doing the recruiting and the placed sounded better than it actually was. The price of the place has risen 13% in the few years my loved one has lived there. I would not recommend to others.

They helped my loved ones get a lot healthier. They have great activities. Everyone is so kind and helpful. We have felt very comfortable that our love dones are fully cared for. We picked this community, because of the location, and the people were so helpful and friendly.

The facility is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, although some struggle to speak and understand English. The meals are very good and the Chef is open to suggestions. Care for my husband on the Assisted Living side is kindly given and adequate, although response time can be slow due to small staff and his need for two people to do transfers - bed to chair and chair to bed - with a lift. The only reason I give activities a 4 rather than a 5 is that the facility is small enough that it doesn't have the variety of larger communities and fewer residents to participate. The staff is friendly and receptive to suggestions and do their best to get folks involved. I recommend Arbor Village to people who are looking for friendly care at a smaller facility set on a pretty piece of property.

The people were nice, but the food is pretty bad. We picked this community because, it was close to dad. They can improve by, hiring a better chef. For all, there should be a key Faub to unlock doors!

Our family had an in person tour with Arbor Village and we really liked the tour experience as well as the community itself. It is just that the community we picked for our loved one was 1 mile away from our home.
Our family had an in person tour with Arbor Village and this was our second choice. It was a great tour experience, we thought everything was great but there was another community that a better atmosphere for our loved one.
I would tell anyone to go elsewhere. They are vastly incompetent. Way over priced . Save your self the headache and find a different residence. There are three meals my loved one hates the food. The staff communication with the family sucks. Administrator has changed in the few months my loved one has been there. You can't understand most of the staff, cause they're foreigners. This whole state sucks.

I picked this community because, it offered the level of care that my loved one needed. They take good care of my loved one. They enjoy playing bingo, doing craft classes and the outings. The caregiver and nursing staff do a good job of caring for my loved one too.

If I could give a 5 star rating to the care team, I would. They have been wonderful. My Mother at 99 years old enjoys her home. However, her apartment has been broken into 3 times. Luckily, she has never been hurt, but certainly scared. Thugs got in and wrecked some things, and one time stole her GrandPad, (an I-pad for Seniors). Arbor Village, as nice as the staff is, has tried to get their ownership, which is Cascade Living - to provide better security. All they have done is put wooden dowels in her windows (first time they were cut too short which allowed the second break in), and have told my Mother never to open her windows. She loves fresh air. They have no cameras outside for surveillance. At 99 years old, I should not have to move my Mother to an upper floor or to a different facility in order to keep her safe. They should get cameras, bars on the windows, better gates, and a security guard. Sadly, I have little faith anything will change.

They left dads mess and did not clean. It was weird becasue of COVID, and it took two weeks or longer, and we could not visit. Mom had a black eye, and they tried to cover it up. They left dads poop in the bathroom and did not clean it up. It was good in the beginning and they offered programs but afterwards it wasn't all that great. One time, it was very cold in moms room and the heat was not working.

I was not interested in this community. It wasn't really what i was looking for for my loved one. It was kind of small.
So far we really like the place, the staff are very friendly and great, we think our loved one will be just fine there. However, they have no wife in the rooms as well as no air conditioning. We were not aware of this when we started our move in, and if we did we probably would of not moved our loved one in. Also we are having some troubles communicating with the nurses station on our loved ones floor. There seems to be some disorganization, but we are working through the kinks.
