The person I helped to move to Arborview is just thrilled with it. Staff are good and residents are awesome also. The person who moved in was struggling to maintain a single family home and keep up with lawn mowing, raking, cleaning and cooking. Here at Arborview, 3 meals a day and basic house keeping are included and no lawn maintenance is required. In addition, it is less lonely having people around all the time and a variety of activities. And you do not need to watch a movie in the theater at the time the group is doing it. One can go there with a friend or do on your own or just visit in common area.

This community caters to independent living. Assisted living has challenges if you are in a wheelchair and need more care. [name removed]who is the director of care cares about residents and goes above and beyond.

Overall, very happy with staff & room. Food could be better, price went up, with no other upgrades. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Arbor View Senior Living to other families

My dad enjoys the exercise classes offered every day and the view from the large windows in the dining room. The community has a family feel and my dad goes down to get coffee and a fresh baked cookie every day. They had several get togethers over the holidays-decorating cookies, hot chocolate bar, local high school kids came to sing carols and had refreshments with the residents. On National Rubber Duck Day everyone in the facility got a unique rubber duck. My dad's room gets cleaned every other week and he loves the company and how clean it is after. My dad is 88 and can't live alone but is very active-he enjoys being a resident there and interacting w staff as well as other residents. The independent living rooms are small but offer lots of closet space to hold everything. My dad even has a card table he gets out of the closet to do his pills every week.

We love Arbor View Senior Living! Our loved one is in independent living so the care services do not apply. There is always room for improvement, but overall my mom is happy and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

I need to go to the hospital quite a lot. The folks here know and understand that and there is no pressure about that. They support my desire for privacy and have a genuine care for my welfare. [name removed] was right and spot on. A great place to live.

What we really like about Arbor View Senior Living are the apartment rooms, they are updated and more modern and we like the quick access to the outside areas. Improvements can be with the management and their overall communication, they could have better response times to help resolve any questions or concerns families have. Also the meals - the fruit selection is good but when it comes to the salads they could offer some more fresher greens and different variety of vegetables

This community just seemed to be dark to me and my loved one stated that she felt like she would get lost in this community. It just felt like an institution and not a home.
Arbor View is all on one floor, there are no stairs or elevators it is spread out all over 13 acres of land which is just unbelievable there is much space. I love it here. It is an older facility but they have really been working on bringing up up to date when it comes to the apartments, repainting and getting new carpet. My apartment is completely finished with a nice kitchen with 4 burners and a stove. We have a nice balcony that brings in so much natural light. It is a pet friendly. The meals have been a lit bit of a problem - they have been back and forth between getting new kitchen directors and kitchen staff. Assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and a rehabilitation center is just right down the road from the independent living. It is all on the same land.

We had an awesome tour at Arbor View! The woman who led the tour was there by herself and did a really great job managing us while simultaneously managing the residents' needs. They were going through a renovation at the time, so things were understandably a little messy. But we had a great experience with them overall. They were super friendly. Really our decision came down to location and cost.
They are very patient and helpful. Mom seems to be adjusting well with the new living space. There are lots of cheerful activities to take part in .

I did not like this community, not the right vibe that we were looking for and there was a lot of construction and it was n older building. We also did not see any clients out and about.
Our family had an in person tour back in February so things were still pretty restricted, however we were able to go see a couple of rooms. The people were very nice, but the community just felt a little more institutional then others we were looking at. It did not feel as special. To be fair at the time they were going through major renovations, so maybe that has changed.
We chose Arbor View because of the location as well as the value for the money. The apartment sizes here are good, it is perfect for what he needs. He also enjoys the meals that are made here. They are trying to open more things up, everyone's been vaccinated now. I would recommend to others looking.

There has been a change in management. There has been no cases of COVID in the community. All the residents have their vaccines. We have been able to visit my loved one, as they have a patio. It is located in a nice neighborhood. The meals have been good.
I would actually live there. It is a little dated, for the money it is good though. The community is in a quiet cul-de-sac. They are doing updates to the rooms and the community. It is nice.

I love my place. It is all one level and I have a huge patio with a door from my bedroom and a door from my living room to get to it. I have a huge apartment with a beautiful kitchen that has a gorgeous range, refrigerator , and cabinets. We have a restaurant here and I can order anything I want, like a hamburger and fries, but I have to go and pick it now right now. I really love it here.

A Place for Mom has scored Arbor View Senior Living 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
