Overall rating: They "sold" my mom on the quality of living at the residence, making promises, which they mostly come through on, if you can find someone and ask several times. Cleanliness: The facility is clean. Housekeeping service for the room, not up to par. Friendliness: Everyone is very pleasant and have a lot of patience. Care Services: I have called for help from the PSW, there are 2 available services inside the home. I left several messages, only one returned my call, ridiculous in-house cost and have yet to hear from the other, called in September. Staff: Friendly staff just not enough of them. The overnight woman, not enough experience. Activities: Not much variety, a little boring. Value for Cost: A little expensive for the size of the room, basing the rate on the area, other homes are cheaper. (I completed this with my mom, whom is the resident)... Read more

I chose Anchor Pointe because I watched this facility being built and actually put a deposit on it at the time. The apartment sizes are great, I have one of the biggest that they offer. I am on the corner I have 3 windows and lovely carpet in the living room and bedroom and wood floors in the kitchen. I think they could improve on the food, the soup is amazing but some of the variety on the other meals is not what I would expect. I love it here, the grounds are absolutely beautiful. If you like to go walking or be outdoors you could not find a better place. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

This is the best place to be. Overall, the activities, cleanliness, friendliness, and they have really good meals make it a great. There are snacks and treats out for you to pick up and go. Some of the activities offered are walking group, library, beauty salon, and more for the residents to choose from. They even have special music on Sundays.

The staff are wonderful, they go above and beyond. The meals I find are ok at the beginning and now they aren't as good. The amount of servings could be better. The meals are being delivered to the resident's rooms because of COVID. I wish there was a choice for food being delivered.

Do not, let me repeat , do not send your family members to this unforgiving thoughtless, over charging prison. They do serve what is on the menu they tell them this is what you get today and if you do not like it move out.....WFT? The manager [name removed] is a very rude and ignorant individual from another country and does not know about taking care of Canadians who deserve it. This piece of work does not care about the residence, all he wants is the over charged monthly fee for them to stay there.

When I first walked in, you could see it was a welcoming and bright atmosphere. We ultimately chose not to move my Mom in here because she wanted to stay closer to where she had lived throughout her life. The facility is lovely and the person that gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and helpful. They even took the time to follow up with me afterwards and asked if I had any other questions or needed any other assistance. I’ve already recommended it to others.

My father-in-law is doing very well here the staff has been great in helping him settle in, he is not much for activities but they do encourage him and there is a lot to choose from. He does like going to the dining area and enjoys the food. This is a very comfortable community and I would definitely recommend it.
