Alto Stuart has a new company director, inflexible and doesn't care about what patients need, probably to young and inexperienced to know, facility brochure advertised notary available , she refused to have herself or a staff member be a notary.

Regarding the notary service, we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this caused. While we strive to offer a wide range of services, there may have been some misunderstanding regarding the availability of notary services on-site. We are more than happy to assist in these services if they're readily available as we've indicated in our materials. This means those services are indeed available if we have a current staff member who is certified to provide notary services. When we do not have a current, certified staff member available for these services, we then do our best in connecting our residents with another notary when needed. However, we will certainly review our materials to ensure clearer communication. Please feel free to reach out to us directly to discuss your concerns further. Some of the staff are absolutely AMAZING!!!! We love them It's the upper management I question. The driver [name removed], the aid [name removed], are absolutely wonderful to my Mom! So kind and patient and go above and beyond always

The aids are rough and dehumanizing and will treat your loved one like an animal. My mom still lives here and looking to move her out. But where? All of these places are the same. I’ve complained to the head nurse about aids yelling at my mom, being rough, cursing, and all she did was blame my mom. My mom who can barely speak and walk.

My loved one is currently a resident at Alto Stuart. Previously, I would have rated this facility all at a five. Sadly, I now rate it at a 2. For days after [name removed] departed, the switchboard kept connecting us with his voicemail! My loved one, age 102, remains upset and rattled that there is no caring communication with neither her nor her family.

Very clean facilities! Staff is very friendly and caring. Mom and Dad were in pretty rough shape when they first moved in. They are both healthy and happy now! Thank you for taking such great care of them.

God was shining on me when I picked Stuart Lodge as the fifth place I looked at. It's more than an assisted living place. It's a family. Very comfortable and the staff was caring. I can't recommend it enough!

My mom went to Stuart Lodge 5 years ago at age 87. What a kind and loving community she found. The nursing staff took care of every issue and without a complaint ever. Mom enjoyed the meals. I loved visiting her there. She was so happy.

We picked this community because, we liked the people, it was a new facility, they had an available room on the first floor, and it was close to where I live. It's a lot of money but compared to other places, the prcie is reasonable. They are very attentive, and nic. They check on, my loved one all the tim. They are extremely friendly and caring. I would recommend to other families.

The Stuart Lodge staff were very nice and informative. The facility itself is older. The rooms felt more like a nursing home and we wanted a place that had a more hotel/apartment type feeling to it. The residents here all looked like they needed much more care than my loved ones.

They are excellent but they are sometimes overworked. The food is very good. We picked this community because, it's more family orientend, they seemed to be more connected. The staff spends time with the residents. They are friendly, and it's a warm, and homey environement.

Putting our parents into assisted living, then memory care, has been a tough decision, since we knew they needed to go. Stuart Lodge has been such a wonderful experience for my Mom, who has missed socializing with other folks over the past couple years. Our Dad still struggles with being there, but the staff has been wonderful working with him. Extra thanks to [name removed], Front Desk, and Chef [name removed](Helped with menu items for folks) for making the transition for Mom and Dad so much easier and pleasant. Ps.....both rooms they moved into were cleaned, painted and even the AL one had new carpet installed before they moved in! Thanks!!

I toured the facility for my mom, as we are considering Assisted Living for next year. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Carpets could use some clean up, but impressed with how welcoming the staff was. Dining room looked nice, but we did not try the food during this tour.

We had a terrible tour experience. They did not have a marketing director on staff. They had just hired someone who was new to the field and the job, and that person was not at the facility yet. While they figured out who was going to take us on our scheduled tour, there was no place for us to wait when we came in, and my mother was left standing which was difficult for her and left a bad first impression. The person who ended up touring us was the activities director. She was a nice lady, but the activities rooms were in awkward places (up the elevator and down the hall). They were dark. The hallways were narrow. The carpet looked uninviting (with spots and things on it). The lighting was dim throughout. When we went into the apartment itself, it was lovely and bright. But all of the other rooms, though they were clean, looked dark and drab. I didn’t like the way the dining room looked. I was not impressed with anything about the place.

I wouldn't send my loved one to the Memory Care unit, or anyone else for that matter. The assisted living unit is wonderful!
