I would highly recommend this place. My father is not very easy to get along with and he has acclimated very well. He is always telling us that he is being well cared for. The staff is very nice and keeps us aware of any concerns.

Alternative Senior Care is small and perfect! It felt like home when my mom could no longer live at home by herself anymore. The staff is very attentive, they meet the residents' needs immediately and communicate well with the family. This is a very clean, 5 star facility that makes people feel like they matter and are cared for! This WAS the ultimate place for Mom! The food is all made from scratch and is very good. This place is beyond awesome! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Place was really nice and [name removed] was very helpful and spent a lot of time with Mom and I talking about Dad's situation and required care. We really like the rooms and the feel of the care home.

My mother who is now 81 years olden was formally diagnosed with Dementia, resigned at La Cantera Asssisted Living and Memory Care. Prior to moving in, my mother's life was a chaos. Due to her mental condition, she was not eating regularly, likely was not eating healthy and was not taking her medications properly or at all. She was combative, very aggressive and complained daily that everyone's stealing from her - what we now know and understand to be results of her dementia. La Cantera Assisted Living and their provider, Flavius played a critical role in stabilizing her mentally and physically and transitioning her from a terrible living situation to a normal life. Thus her combativeness and aggression disappeared after a few weeks, and for the first time in many years, we were able to have normal and pleasant interactions with her. We were able to take her to dental and medical appointments that she desperately needed without fear that her combative behaviors would disrupt those services. In addition, for the first time in many years, my mother had healthy, regularly-scheduled meals. In fact, she began to gain weight within a month on moving into La Cantera Assisted Living and Memory Care. We will always be grateful to Flavius and the staff for playing a critical, much needed role in improving my mother's quality of life.

My father lived at La Cantera Assisted Living and Memory Care for around 7 months, until his passing. My father had severe dementia and they did a wonderful job taking care of my dad, and I always knew he was in great hands. Even hospice commented several times on how great of caregivers they are. They made this difficult time for us and him, peaceful. I am so blessed that the good Lord placed them into our lives to care for my dad. La Cantera Assisted Living and Memory Care and the staff there provided exceptional care for my father and I highly recommend them!
