The new owners [name removed] and [name removed] are terrific, they really care about the residents. They are both very hands-on and work very hard filling in wherever needed. My mother is very happy there and loves the food, they have a very good cook. The staff is great, I have not met one person I'm unhappy with. The facility is on a country road with a huge yard and lots o f wildlife to watch which my mother enjoys. All in all everything is working out very well so far.

We needed help for Mom because our own age would not allow her to live with us any longer. We grew up in a farming community, so Alpine Manor's rural setting was attractive to us. Once we were able to visit and see the facilities and the room that would be Moms, it was an easy yes for us. The staff was extremely helpful with selecting new doctors and procedures for filling perscriptions. It is important that medicine is handed out to patients by the nurse .Mom has been a resident for 7 months and thoroughly enjoys the care she is given, her meals, and the daily activities. I would highly reccommend Alpine Manor to anyone making the difficult decision to transfer Mom's care to someone other than family. Mom was very nervous about moving to Alpine but the day she moved in a member of the staff sat and talked to her in a manner to remove her nervousness. Mom has become a social butterfly!!

Alpine Manor has wonderful caring staff that do all they can to make your loved one feel comfortable and engaged. Activities, good food and live music. Passionate and understanding. I highly recommend Alpine Manor for those looking for help with their senior loved ones who are still able to help care for themselves, but need some assistance with daily living and taking their medications.

My mother in law was there for two years until her private pay money ran out. Once money dries up the facility finds a way to get rid of you. My mother in law went to hospital then rehab having became ill and could not take care of herself. They day the owner came to visit her in rehab, she had oxygen on, he told her they cannot meet her needs and told her not to come back! The same day she was taken off oxygen and gained all her strength back. Now my mother in law is looking for someplace to go. They have painted her in a light of being difficult. She was never allowed to open the window in her room, if it was open she was yelled at by owner!!! If she left tv on when going to eat, she was yelled at by owner and owners daughter the nurse with an attitude! The bathing facilities are disgusting, I looked, I took pictures and wanted to blow them in, unsanitary, tile off walls, looks like a slop sink, I would not wash my dog where they wash people! My wife, has tried to talk to owners about concerns, he ends up yelling at her and calling her a [language removed], and if you do not like it take your mom home! The owners daughter is just as helpful! There are always empty rooms, for a reason, their favorite people are ones who get no visitors just checks! Yes, some people just send money! If you hate your mother or father, send them HERE!

A Place for Mom has scored Alpine Manor 8.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
