I moved to Alders Rockwall Active Senior Living in August 2023 and have complained about a barking dog in apartment next to mine since move in. The manager told me a few minutes ago they have talked to the owner and that’s all they can do. The manager had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to relocate in the same complex. I am going to see my attorney to find out how to get out of my lease.

Our family had an in person tour with Alders Rockwall and we thought the tour experience was great. What we saw of this community was really nice.
Overall, a great living experience! The residents are very friendly. The staff is friendly though not always pro-active. The Alders-Rockwall has a lot of activities for the residents. There are a lot of amenities - Theater, salon, pub, tool shed, library, workout room, pool & spa, laundry room with plus size washers & dryers. The public area are spacious & well maintained. The apartments are spacious with 12 foot ceilings and are wheel-chair friendly with wide doorways, king-size toilets & low counter tops. They are carpeted & have hardwood flooring. For a luxury apartment, the included appliances - stove, microwave, refrigerator, washer & dryer, dishwasher - are sub-standard. They are adequate but definitely not "luxury," top-of-the-line. I would recommend Alders to any 62+ adult looking for independent senior living.

Property is always clean. Events are fun & always so many! Staff is great, esp. the manager [name removed]. She really cares for the residents & property. Highly recommend.

Wow! We toured several communities and this is by far the most beautiful- the fire place and the people were warm and welcoming.

Beautiful 5 star community. Luxurious apartments and grounds. Great management. Slightly understaffed with one maintenance worker, beauty shop, crafts room, washer and dryer provided, many planned activities including brunch every Tuesday and Thursday.
Beautiful decor watch floors in apt scratched slow filling up two employees walked off very under staffed need more experience.

Overall it's pretty good. It's secure, safe, and clean, and It's a brand new facility. They have good activities. The people are very friendly here, and the residents are close with one another. Sometimes there are things in the hallway that we have to tell the staff to pick up. But they're generally responsive when we come to them with issues like that. The staff could be a little more consistent though. The cost has gone up a lot in the Dallas area, so I feel like it's a little pricey.
