Life In The Country in Brunswick, MD
4.5

My husband came to Life in the Country after being in long term care and getting worse symptoms then he had before he went there. The staff has been wonderful and attentive to his needs. He has a balance issue and had fallen repeated in LTC. I am happy to say he has not fell once in this setting. He was very confused and hallucinating the staff was wonderful treating him with respect and dignity. The meals are good and are balanced. I am happy to say he is so much better I hope to bring him home soon. This comes from a balance of care and medicine changes. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Laundry and room cleaning done on regular bases. I read a review that stated the clients were isolated this has not been my observation. . I feel the staff really tries to make them feel as close to home as possible with so many memory issues it is a difficult task. I visit every day and have never observed poor treatment to any Individual. I would end by saying it was a great choice for us and think others will find that to be the case too.

Lovettsville Home Assisted Living
4.5

I highly recommend the Lovettsville Home for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or otherwise needing 24/7 care or assistance. My mother spent 11 years at the home, and I couldn't ask for better care at a cost significantly below what would spend at one of the larger or better-known facilities. The small staff treats the residents and their families as part of their own family, and my siblings and I never worried if our mother was getting the around-the-clock care she required. If you have a parent or loved one in a similar situation, I strongly recommend you visit and consider the Lovettsville Home as an option.
