Residential Care Home
Yama house was a godsend for our family. The entire staff were truly partners in my mom's care. They were accessible and accommodating through every stage of my mom's journey. She had terrible wounds from a surgery and the improvement I saw in them during her time there was nothing short of miraculous. [Name removed] was skilled and meticulous in caring for them. They were so kind to my mom as well as to me as I was navigating her care. They catered to her requests in a way that was heartwarming to me. They were always welcoming to me and to my Mom's visitors. In the beginning my mom had a busy schedule of OT, PT and speech therapy. They worked with her therapists and always had her ready for therapy. The visiting therapists remarked that the staff was kind, competent and easy to work with. As she declined they assisted me in making hospice arrangements and worked seamlessly with the hospice provider to provide the best possible care and make her as comfortable as possible.
This is a nice community. Very clean and taken care of. The staff is very nice and always very helpful. The meals that are offered are very appealing. Great activities are offered. I would recommend this community for other families.
