Assisted Living
I do love the place she's in and the people who care for her. I pop in at all hours of the day and night. As far as the Value for the money I don't know that there is a correct number. You expect a certain level of care regardless of the cost. Everything we pay for has earned a 5 and we pay for that, no matter how. Good care is priceless.
I would recommend this facility to others. I think the price point is a little high. It's a small facility, so the call response time is quicker for care. The studio apartments are a nice size and the kitchen section is a wonderful thought. The care staff often go around and remind residents to go to activities, which is very helpful.
My mom was one of the first residents. Sadly she was only in Green Valley for less than a week. But, the care she was given during this time was nothing short of amazing. Everyone had a positive attitude the entire time, offer of encouragement, and calming demeanors. The staff gave mom her dignity back during her last days by keeping her comfortable, gave her a sponge bath each day, and took her out of the horrid hospital gown and into her own pjs. One evening, they had mom in the dining area and served her ice cream which was her favorite food. This was her last meal but you can see she enjoyed the dish of ice cream. The staff are great, the facility is clean, the value is wonderful. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. Thank you!
