Sodalis is clean, serves a variety of hot meals and the staff is very friendly. The activities director has gotten my mom to join in some of the activities which is something new for her. She is not a social butterfly.
All of the "senior living" facilities are ridiculously expensive. Especially when my mom is still in "independent" living, so the only service she receives (other than room, utilities, meals, and activities) is housekeeping once a week. I am aware the rate is in keeping with other similar facilities, but overall, I think the rates are almost TWICE what is fair.
Mercy House Victoria is small, but the staff there are very attuned to the needs of the residents there and that is why I would rate them as a 5 for all the categories. Based on the experience we have had, we would definitely recommend this community to others.
