My mom is eating the meal. It is not like home cooking but I think it is good. The staff are good people who help out very well. I am pleased that she is getting taken care of.The staff assist with her ADL and there has been no problems. A Place For Mom helped us find this community. They are able to provide the most care for her needs.

Ravenna Assisted Living in Albuquerque, NM

My friend is here and he wasn’t happy at first but we put pictures up and that seemed to help. It wasn’t the cheapest place but it seemed to be reasonable. The staff is easy to communicate with and knowledgeable about the kind of care that he needs. The first week, he really liked the food but now he doesn’t really like not being able to have food that isn’t bland. There just doesn’t seem to be any taste to it. He seems moderately happy though. They’ve invited me twice to go do a few activities with them. They have a monthly calendar filled with things to do. Housekeeping is in his room every day vacuuming and making sure the toiletries are filled. They even do his laundry for him. The rest of the facility is kept pretty clean. I think [Removed] (the co-owners of the facility) were really the big reason for us choosing here. They’re friendly and they were more than happy to show me everything they had whenever we were doing the initial interview. I met [Removed] on the walkway while he was unloading his car and he was just a really friendly guy. I don’t care if the service is bad, I’m happy with [Removed] the most. [Removed] is fantastic and answers any questions that you might have and they send me fliers once a month to keep me up to date with everything. The thing that really brought me here was that it’s a smaller facility, only about 38 rooms, and they’ve got 16 staff members during the day and 12 during the night. It just feels cozier. Really, I don’t have a bad thing to say about them!
