We brought in Hospice to increase his care. He has dementia and does not attend many activities. We are fortunate to be able to afford the cost. That being said it is a nice safe place for him. We have had dad there one and a half years and have already witnessed approximately a 10 percent increase in normal costs. His care costs have increased because of the need the other increases I guess are just a sign of the times. Everything is getting more expensive.

Highgate Senior Living has exceeded my expectations. I love that the residents have their pets with them! I love the abundance of activities offered for entertainment! The dining hours works for everyone's individual wants and needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Well done!

They have done extremely well helping to get my sister in there and helping her to get oriented. There are a couple of things where they could improve. For one, there are a couple of family members which I had it in writing would not be allowed to visit her until after she had been there for 90 days (for reasons I'll not get into) and they ended up letting them come visit after she was there for a couple of days. They also were not quite as organized in getting all the paperwork together at the beginning. It required multiple trips for us to have to go back because they still needed one more document signed or something. I think that might be because they had a temporary director at the time. So we have noticed a couple of areas for improvement, but overall they have really been great.
