From what I can see, I feel like they do a fairly decent job of caring for my loved one. I know it's a difficult job, and one I was no longer able to do myself. They get her up to go the bathroom every two hours, and they check on her in the night and will take her if she needs to go. She hasn't complained about the staff. Most of the residents seem pretty happy there, but I imagine they all want to go home on some level. Security wise, they do a good job of keeping it locked and secure for residents who wander. One thing I don't think they do a very good job of is cleaning her room. I've seen feces on her shower chair, candy wrappers on the floor, used towels lying around, and I haven't seen any garbage cans in there. The food is okay, just kind of bland. They seem to keep my loved one pretty busy with activities. They have singalongs, light exercise in the mornings, and they play bingo quite often. They also have a bus and take the residents on field trips. This type of care is expensive, and I would like to see more from housekeeping for the amount that I pay.
Things are going pretty good at this community. Dad seems to like the food and they they offer daily activities. The staff take good care of him and we have good communication with them. I would recommend this community.
Kind and friendly staff. Family and children are always welcome. Being in a carefree, safe envrionment. New, clean rooms and community spaces. Chef [name removed] wonderful cuisine. variety of creative activities., The other residents are full of fun and laughs.
