This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include at least three meals, one nutritious snack, and any therapeutic diets ordered by a resident’s health care provider must be provided each day. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include applying topical medications, placing an oral dosage in the resident’s hand, and communities must assist residents with self-administration if requested. Before a resident is accepted, they must go through a service plan screening to make sure their needs are going to be met.
