Memory Care
The food and food service has been below average. They run out of an item but do not relay this information and sometimes they will substitute while other times do not substitute. They have staffing issues. We have complained, so management is aware of problems. For the activities, slots fill up fast so you may not get the opportunity to join. As for the value for cost, it is a lot of money for residents but staff that provide services are probably not compensated to provide good service. Additionally, billing issues have not been resolved for over a month. You must pay attention to what you are being billed. The amount to be refunded keeps increasing each month.
We chose The Inn at Bear Trail because it is a newer, beautiful facility. It is like a mountain lodge and my dad loved that type of atmosphere. The location was also good for our family. His room size was pretty good and they did a good job of keeping it cleaned up. The staff were not as good with communication as we would have hoped, but they also had more responsibilities with everything going on. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.
The staff at Carriage Court is excellent! They all seem to really like their jobs and it shows with the care that the residents receive.
